By Premier League standards aye, which is my main worry, however, he can find a position to score. Just has to be seen if he can do it in a league better than League 1/Championship quality. Having no pace makes us very easy to defend against, teams can push up and squeeze us in the middle of the park where we have poor quality ball players and thus we lose the ball easily. Happened a lot in the season we went down. Only really Routledge and at a push Jonas with any pace in what i'd imagine our starting XI to be next season. Are people's opinions that Lovenkrands is too much of a gamble up front in the Premiership? I would rather he played than we signed Boyd tbh.

Wonder if this means that Lovenkrands will be relegated to the bench?
-
Took him more a couple more seasons to do it though.

I doubt it, he's in Germany covering Schteve's appointment as Wolfsburg manager. McClaren was interviewed on SSN before, the Dutch accent has gone. :-[ In the process of getting his German one up to scratch.

If it happens, it's another transfer done on the quiet. I hope it stays this way.

That's Alan Smith btw. (only a guess, though) Beardsley I thought .

What if Man Utd draw? You win the lay at BF.
-
If you're interested in matched betting, here's an example.... Say Coral are offering 'Bet £100 and get another £100 for free'. You put £100 on Newcastle to win at 2.0. You then lay the same bet at Betfair for the same amount. So no matter the outcome, you break even. (Newcastle win, you win £100 at Corals, but lose £100 at BF and vice versa) You now have a free £100 bet. Place another £100 bet on Man U to win at 2.0 and lay the same at BF. If Man U win, you're £200 up and lose £100 at BF = £100 profit. If Man U fail to win, then you lose nothing at Corals (free bet), but you win £100 at Betfair = £100 profit. That's an ideal situation, but odds are never exactly the same and you've got commission to take into account. Sometimes the bookies don't give your original stake from a free bet back, but there's ways to take that into account. But that's the general idea of it.
-
You could do matched betting and win all of the time. I think I made about 6k in the first year and signed on to a sh**load of bookies in the UK and overseas.
