Gillespie was the complete opposite of Milner. Fast as fuck with a good crossing technique. I'm happy with Carroll as a targetman option. He's big and strong and apparently a dickhead too. Certainly one of the few exciting players to come through our academy in the last 20 (!) years. Hopefully Ranger will continue to improve too, he's done well so far.. made a good start to his international career and that will be good for his confidence as a footballer.
