Best coach in the world, you believe me him when you hear it!
-
Preseason for the Premier League is around 3rd July I think, as the "Champo" starts a week earlier then I would guess preseason starts towards the end of this month! Only guessing though....
-
Sure Dummett said something like "you would receive the ball in training and immediately feel the wind change... you knew Tiote was coming for you" RIP the destroyer. What a great quote "feel the wind change because you knew Tiote was coming for you!"

This man was made from titanium, he was indestructible.... A heart attack at 30 years old is horrible for anyone. His goal against Arsenal remains one of the highlights of my football watching life! Shaking and shocked here, RIP.

Why should a university student be in the family area? Even more concerning is why a pepper appears to have it's own ST. That's terrible. Pimento has own season ticket shocker! In the family area no less!
-
There is an old fella sitting in the row ahead of me in the East Stand that travels from York every home game. His wife does a spot of shopping in town while he comes to the match. He makes most evening games - even last season when we played on practically every day of the week for TV purposes!
-
Fixture list is released in 15 days and the season starts in 74 days! This is not long for them to have everything arranged and new cards sent out, due to no longer being associated with Wonga....
-
I am going to contact the Box Office today to ask for information, they are generally out before the last game of the season!
-
Has anyone not on any sort of direct debit scheme received a renewal so far?
-
That was going to be my point. They over value a player to stop teams from coming in for them.... following season the same player is poor and suddenly the value falls to 5 or 6 Mil.
-
In previous seasons the renewal forms have been sent out on the same weekend as the final game of the season. I fully expected to receive mine this week.... Clearly not done though. No doubt they will be on their way quite soon though.

Can I just check? Is it Fiddling taxes and your supporters being embarrassed > fiddling children and your supporters defending it. meaning that our misdemeanor is of greater significance than their or should it be Fiddling taxes and your supporters being embarrassed < fiddling children and your supporters defending it. meaning less great or not as bad? Just seeking a clarification for my own sanity.... -
It needs resetting because half of us, me included, decided that 1 was the best and 5 was the worst! A correct outcome of this poll is critical given that it has all turned to dogshit today! (almost / possibly)

They've also got a separate thread where they're trying to come up with a song about it. christ Seen one of Facebook that is quite funny.. "what's that coming over the hill is it a tax man, is it a tax man?" Comic genius! -

Well it's income tax and national insurance, so could be player wages. Most big earners will be using tax avoidance companies to handle their salaries. I imagine the footballers are no different.... paying large sums of money into overseas holding companies and paying themselves dividends rather than salaries. If Charney is implicated in assisting this sort of activity, maybe that could be part of the investigation.... (?) It is not actually illegal, more of a loophole but, depending on how it is conducted it could contravene some of the HMRC rules! -

Relating to 5M Quid of "fraud". In the world of football that is a minor oversight at worst. You are talking about 100's of Millions of Pounds in transactions taking place. We probably didn't pay enough VAT on the pies sold at half time or something! -
I saw that and thought that just about sums him up as a human being.....

The Premier League is so different to the Championship in terms of physicality, Mitro seems to thrive on the physical side of the game, he wont get much love from Premier League referees, like he didn't in the short time he played with us in the Premier League during last season. Players like Perez and Hayden will thrive in the Premier League though. Sadly, Mitro will need to be moved on as he will be a liability for us next season.

I really like the Championship, it is really competitive and often throws up surprises. Generally the fans of other clubs are genuine and decent as well. I enjoyed the last time we were down more than this time, we had a far better team back then but, the determination this year and the doggedness that we have displayed to gain promotion at the first time of asking, again, has been enjoyable. Not many teams go down and gain promotion in consecutive seasons, look at the struggle that Norwich and Villa have endured to be mediocre in this league! I gave this season a 2 while I would have given the previous Championship season a solid 1.

We're not Americans. Yikes! I work for an American company and my keyboard / language settings are all US so that was an autocorrect I am afraid. haha
