I just think it’s completely unacceptable to allow them all to get what they want now. The approach to this from Isak, his agent and Liverpool (and the media) has been so bad that we can’t possibly reward them with the outcome they want. If I was Yasir I would be absolutely foaming. I know he will go there eventually like, but it’s annoying.

I literally said we shouldn't say stupid stuff about other clubs' ownership.

All the non-NUFC fans I know didn't have a clue about Mike Ashley and what he was doing. Especially the ones that supported Man U while living in London (ie they didn't really follow football closely). Other fans just don't follow ownership issues etc closely enough. Look at the amount of times we'll say something patronising about another club and how they should be happy to survive in the PL, be careful what they wish for and all that shite. Fans should really avoid those opinions on clubs that they don't support.

I think Sesko would be class here if he was invested in coming and worked with a top attitude and all that. Better than he’ll be at Man U. But if he doesn’t have that enthusiasm there’s not a lot we can do. We’re certainly not going to go down the route of going crazy with money to get people to pick us. What the means for our future targets we’ll have to see.

Aaron Ramsdale: return to Southampton confirmed
AyeDubbleYoo replied to The Prophet's topic in Football
Seems fine to me. Obviously we didn’t have another long term target like Marmadashvili or Trafford on the list. Get Ramsdale in to buy time, keep either Pope or (more likely) Ramsdale as backup to a new guy once we sort out the entire structure of the football club. Easy. -
Hell of a debate for someone who’s probably not even for sale.

Isn’t whether he trains with the team our decision? Or you mean if he refuses?

So is it more that they couldn’t prove it because he didn’t comply with the investigation?

Anyone in football can rehabilitate themselves if they play well IMO, there’s always a way back. Maybe never exactly the same level of love but we would definitely be able to support him if he put the work in. Of course we would always be suspicious when he’s injured or tired etc, so it wouldn’t be easier.
