  1. Yep. Really they shouldn’t be allowed to get him at all, but if they do it has to be a price that’s clearly excessive.
  2. I just think it’s completely unacceptable to allow them all to get what they want now. The approach to this from Isak, his agent and Liverpool (and the media) has been so bad that we can’t possibly reward them with the outcome they want. If I was Yasir I would be absolutely foaming. I know he will go there eventually like, but it’s annoying.
  3. I would honestly not sell him to Liverpool now regardless of the price. Spend some money on Wissa and a little more on another backup, put him in the reserves and look into the prospect of not paying him. Obvs won’t happen but that’s what I’d like to see now.
  4. Cheeky little Friday afternoon unsettler bid. Not that he wasn’t unsettled already.
  5. I literally said we shouldn't say stupid stuff about other clubs' ownership.
  6. All the non-NUFC fans I know didn't have a clue about Mike Ashley and what he was doing. Especially the ones that supported Man U while living in London (ie they didn't really follow football closely). Other fans just don't follow ownership issues etc closely enough. Look at the amount of times we'll say something patronising about another club and how they should be happy to survive in the PL, be careful what they wish for and all that shite. Fans should really avoid those opinions on clubs that they don't support.
  7. I think Sesko would be class here if he was invested in coming and worked with a top attitude and all that. Better than he’ll be at Man U. But if he doesn’t have that enthusiasm there’s not a lot we can do. We’re certainly not going to go down the route of going crazy with money to get people to pick us. What the means for our future targets we’ll have to see.
  8. Seems fine to me. Obviously we didn’t have another long term target like Marmadashvili or Trafford on the list. Get Ramsdale in to buy time, keep either Pope or (more likely) Ramsdale as backup to a new guy once we sort out the entire structure of the football club. Easy.
  9. Hell of a debate for someone who’s probably not even for sale.
  10. This is the problem really. If it was abroad I’d be all in the selling camp. As it is I think he has to stay for another season.
  11. Sounds like the deadline is more related to us than Liverpool at this point. We could probably call them tomorrow if we wanted to sell him.
  12. Exactly right really. We can't let him go unless we have 2 in, one elite. He has a way back if he stops being a prat.
  13. Isn’t whether he trains with the team our decision? Or you mean if he refuses?
  14. So is it more that they couldn’t prove it because he didn’t comply with the investigation?
  15. Aye he really needs a high-impact season. Hopefully will do it.
  16. It won’t be the same but it would eventually be bearable IMO. Not that I expect it to be happen, but it’s possible.
  17. Anyone in football can rehabilitate themselves if they play well IMO, there’s always a way back. Maybe never exactly the same level of love but we would definitely be able to support him if he put the work in. Of course we would always be suspicious when he’s injured or tired etc, so it wouldn’t be easier.
  18. They might like, his contract probably requires him to do some things.
  19. For me he has to join up with the squad unless we’ve already agreed to sell him.
