We’ve definitely not been as smart as I expected, just hoping the next level of targets is more gettable. TBH I’m not sure anyone expected Ekitike to be worth 90m or City to want Trafford back. Pedro to Chelsea is just Chelsea spending at random. Still think it’s possible the window ends up good but TBH all I can think about is the chance of Isak leaving.

I more meant the stuff about having a range of targets and profiles on our list. Everyone just ignores that stuff.

I like Wissa but if he’s our main striker next season then it’ll be extremely disappointing.

Why do people say this stuff?

It all depends on keeping Isak for me. If we keep him then someone like Wissa is a very good addition to the squad IMO. If we don’t keep Isak then nothing we do in the window really matters anyway since we’ll end up with less points and goals than last season guaranteed.
