  1. Half the people saying 25 is insulting and half saying 35 is too much
  2. I don’t understand ‘bidding’ anyway. Surely you just call and discuss the deal and negotiate a price that’s OK for both parties? Seems mad that you just have to pluck an amount of money and fax it to Brentford at random
  3. We shouldn’t sell him this window under any circumstances like, contract or not.
  4. I’m not sure if this is serious when they’re on £100k a week Guess a £1m house costs £10m in London.
  5. Surely not below Tottenham.
  6. We’re bigger, better and just all round cooler than Spurs.
  7. Aye I scanned it but didn't pick up that but, unfortunate if true.
  8. Didn't know the Mitchell bit, I thought we deliberately lined him up for this summer.
  9. I thought Frankfurt couldn't afford to turn down 60m for Ekitike and they ended up getting nearly 100
  10. This unsettling seems bollocks to me. Surely someone can train and play friendlies while their agent finds them a move?
  11. Yeah possibly, I don't feel I know enough about the money or what's happened to judge if we've done anything wrong. Obviously I would rather he had signed.
  12. Well I assume this was the window he knew he was moving in, not before now. Obviously Man City are now waving their first refusal clause around.
  13. He is but the circumstances have to align. They have to have a gap for a central striker, they have to have the money, they have to choose him over other options, he has to want that move etc. It’s not so simple as just matching what Paris could pay him.
  14. I think the previous window we didn’t really want to buy people, all I can remember is Guehi pursuit. Either way, he’s a clever man so he will learn.
  15. Sounded like he was ready to come before, are we fucking him about?
  16. I feel like skipping Liverpool home opener might be wise, but I won't
  17. My plan was to look at each month and pick my favourite game, not sure how long I'll be able to resist going to them all though.
  18. If this is true then you'd expect he will adapt very quickly.
  19. I don't think it's a question about what he's worth, it's probably more a question if we can physically pay him whatever.
  20. Dorgu looked a mess, is good enough to be first choice? Generally I think Manchester have decent quality but seem to lack some kind of vibes that create a functioning team.
  21. Nah I don't disagree with that really, I just think we could keep him for at least another season on his current deal. It's not like if he doesn't sign now he has to leave.
  22. Thank you I just think it's extreme short-term thinking. He might not be as good next season, for example, who knows. I don't mind him 'wanting' to maximise his earnings, but unfortunately he might be in a position where he can't earn the max because he plays for Newcastle for another three years and we only have so much money. As I said before, I would be happy if he signs a new contract.
