I mean, we're in discussions with his club, I'm not sure what else we can do. We're not going to suddenly offer more than we've been discussing previously just because of some tweets about Liverpool.

I don't see why we wouldn't get him. We've been in contact since he went to PSG, we seem to have almost or agreed a deal with his club. Liverpool are fucking around but surely he's not going to pick them just because it's Liverpool. Not even sure they want to buy him. I haven't read the details of every random tweet but that's the feeling I have right now.

I wish him the best but I just can’t see how he can contribute enough to a PL club, his level is lower than that. Mentality is big in football though, so I guess a fresh start might give him a boost.
