That would mean any PL player would cost Man U £100m though Everyone is 20m better than Antony was. I think the market decides on a player’s value, not how much Man U wasted in the past. Fair play to Brentford for holding out for whatever they think is right, obviously.

Yeah, but I don't think those were really the games we struggled in the most. I don't disagree we could do better but I'm not sure if it's realistic to expect or if we just need to embrace Howe-ball and all the pros and cons that come with it. Midfielder or second striker signing will be interesting. Going after Joao Pedro suggests at least one eye on different ways to play.

I really have a lot of time for his mental and emotional situation, as you say it must be a difficult choice. But we really need to move players like him out so we can up the overall quality level in the squad.

I’m not sure we’ll play with a 10 but I’d like a left footer with a bit of technique to play instead Joelinton sometimes. Miley will move up but we probably want another option as well. He’s still very young.

Definitely, hopefully that’s part of the reason he’s going. Personally would part with Willock as well but that might be considered too much squad turnover I guess.

Can’t see him doing well for anyone in this league but genuinely interested to see how he does. Certainly will be more relaxing watching him play for someone else.
