It only deceases by the day if you think the limiting factor is time. It's probably not as simple as that, you can work on multiple deals at the same time. Who's to say if we'd signed 2 players in week one then we wouldn't have wasted weeks 15 and 16, or whatever.

The pursuit of Pedro was definitely interesting, assumed we wanted him and Elanga rather than this being a change in direction. So that does suggest some kind of change of approach, at least in some games.

One of those where it looks a bad signing but has the potential to be OK. If the best case scenario happens and he actually can contribute, it will look decent.
