I'm not sure, he hasn't proved his fitness to the extent that any big teams will want him. Man Utd have too many forwards, Chelsea have Anelka being reborn, I doubt Liverpool would have him back, and Arsenal don't entertain poachers. If we stay up I'm starting to think he might stay for a while, can't see where else he could go. I suppose he could negotiate a lucrative move to the Middle East or the US if he wasn't bothered about his career.

Just picked up on this thread, but Dyer was actually quite and important player for us, where Duff is a waste of skin.

It is far too tight at this point to say who might go down. We're in the mix but no more likely than anyone else in the bottom half. After two decent wins we were on the up and now after a tight defeat away at Fulham we're a 'good shout to go down'?

Is there any evidence of any use of performance enhancing drugs in football? I can't remember any? If they're testing people to catch them taking recreational drugs, then I'm not sure that's really an issue for the FA. In that case maybe it should be down to the clubs to decide whether they want to build drug testing into their employees' contracts.

I think to a certain extent we were unlucky not to get something from this game. We conceded a penalty during our best period, and we were putting Fulham under some sustained pressure at that point. The Cacapa error was silly, and the performance overall was probably below average... but I don't think it's as bad as some people are saying. The subs were weird though, really wanted to see NZogbia, Geremi and Owen earlier.

Love this trip, really looking forward to it - and sure we can get at least a point. Bring it on...

I don't believe you should never change a winning team but in this case the players are on the up and seem to be brimming with confidence. Best thing is to fire them up and send them out unchanged... can't argue about that.
