Made himself important to the team. Best performance so far imo. Looking forward to seeing him play like that in midfield when the opportunity arises.

Think I’d rather have someone with a great eye for a pass, personally. Do think EH prefers players who can progress the ball by running with it though.

Would fancy Willock to start this one. Carries the ball upfield well and is fairly press resistant (he used to be, anyway…).

We should have the legs to make this a fairly comfortable game as long as we play the ball with bravery and a bit of élan. Get our aura back.

Didn’t see the game (had Series Added clicked on Sky but it still didn’t let me see it this morning). Saw the highlights which made it look like it was all Burnley apart from a couple of shots from us. Checked the match stats and it showed we had more possession, more shots, more shots on target, more corners, higher pass completion. Can’t have been that bad, could it? Sky Editorial all Burnley tix holders or summit?

I don’t know how I'll feel if we set up to stand off them when I look at our midfield compared to theirs…

I’m just happy to see him getting plenty of minutes. He needs it and we need to know what he’s capable of in actual games. If it’s at RB for a while, all good. I think he’s looked really good there tbh. Understand posters who’ve noted he doesn’t overlap much, that’s true. He’d be more effective than Tino though at that inside-right AM position that Tino has been taking up when we’ve the ball.

Maybe watching Wissa’s movement and (hopefully) success in the box during games will inspire him to try to emulate it. Doesn’t need blistering pace in and around the 6 yard box just better anticipation.

Watching the Forest highlights from last year gives me hope he’ll bed in eventually. Maybe he’ll flash in a couple of away games and get some form back.

This guy……. The technique required to put a cross in the way he can is a rare thing indeed. But so much of the rest of his game…..fuuuuuuuuck me!
