For some reason, I can see Park Ji Sung getting it...(purely for commercial reasons). Wouldn't be a bad choice tbh, if you want players looking to their captain in terms of effort etc... Hughes has told the Korean press that Park is "in the reckoning" for the captaincy. If so, it's probably a commercial choice. Would be interesting to see how he gets along with Barton regardless.

Is there a Korean player that wouldn't be a fantastic signing for anyone in your opinion though? Every single one except about ten? He's one of the good ones though. Will be our best player within three years time. He is one of maybe three Koreans I would be happy to see at Newcastle United, so obviously it's a huge coup for Cardiff City.

As for his ability, while he's definitely overpriced, I wouldn't discount his capability to lift a relatively inferior team. Wow, did not expect Park to QPR at all. On the one hand I'm glad because I've always wanted him to grow a pair of balls and move to a team where he can be a key player.
