  1. What an absolute cunt Jordan is. If this goes through we are going to be hated and it will be fucking great.

    Kevin Keegan

No disrespect to SBR, but the Keegan years were ten times greater than those under him. The first thing that should happen if the takeover happens is that KK should be made an ambassador for the club. He will elevate the club's stature to what it was 25 years ago within months, and be able to persuade any player on the planet to come here if he's part of the negotiations.
  3. City are richer, don't have owners leeching off them, have better infrastructure and are properly investing in the community. According to the lad I spoke to they also have local youth development sewn up and all the youngsters want to go there over Man U. He was pretty scathing about it tbh.
  4. Because they are a million miles ahead of them in every way. I was in Manchester not so long, speaking to a die hard Man U fan and he admitted as much.
  5. That's incredible. I love how City are just dominating Manchester now. Man Utd fans must be frothing at the mouth on a daily basis.
  6. We have known for months that they aren't happy with the arbitration panel. This feels to me like a message to those on the panel themselves. I still don't understand why they have left it so long to suggest that the arbitration be played out in public. I'm guessing it's because they know that has no chance of happening so, at the very least, start venting about it just as the process is about to begin to apply scrutiny to the panel.
  7. As far as I am aware, Staveley was never seen on TV speaking about it at all last year. This feels different.
  8. Blimey. The first time we have actually heard her speak about it. Things are definitely going down.
  9. Could it be that the PL are kicking the CAT can down the road because arbitration started today and they expect a conclusion before July 12th? They then expect the takeover to be approved via arbitration? And thus Ashley drops the CAT? Or does this post belong in the other thread?
  10. Why have the club stated that the PL want the CAT behind closed doors then? Its not on record on any of the CAT website notes is it?
  11. So what next. The PL appeal against the appeal? Then we appeal against the appeal of the appeal?
  12. So by submitting evidence, we gave the PL an opportunity to delay the process even further. Marvellous.
  13. So what the hell did NUFC send on the 28th? The levels of farce just keep getting stronger.
  14. So the PL didnt actually meet the deadline of the 28th did they? They applied for an extension two days late.
  15. "AND UPON the Claimant filing its evidence in response to the Jurisdiction Application on 28 June 2021" That's what it says in the update.
  16. I dont get it. They filed their evidence on June 28th. Then asked for another extension for the "filing and service" of its evidence on June 30th. What the hell does that even mean?
  17. I thought that they had to submit by June 25th? So that is an extension of 17 days?
  18. Again, which begs the question...why did Staveley and co write to her? Surely De Marco and co were behind it too? It can only have been about raising the profile of the case and a spot of posturing before it starts.
  19. It's quite possible that Staveley and the club wrote to Crouch simply to make an impression on her, with the message being "remember all of this shit when you come to do your review later this year". Simply another way of nudging the PL by saying "your not getting away with this and you are going to pay a price for it". That's why it has made no sense to think they could get the terms of the arb changed at the last moment. This is just more gesturing ahead of the event.
  20. Why have they left it so late in the game to do this though? They should have been on Tracey Crouch's case about this months ago. It makes no sense to leave it this late to get them to fold before arbitration starts. It seems fairly obvious too that the club think Michael Beloff is going to side with the PL.
  21. I need someone to explain to me how having arbitration played out in the public eye improves our chances of winning. Are Staveley and co implying that the three people doing the arbitrating are capable of being influenced by public opinion?
  22. This is probably the most encouraging thing I have seen related to NUST.
  23. That seems to be the narrative now being pushed. Except the two statements completely contradict each other. It's a total farce.
  24. Agree, and I'd be up for some of that. This email your MP stuff is a nonsense though.
  25. With days to go until the legal stuff starts too. I mean, why now? Utterly farcical.
