Always thought he was shit and dragged the team down. Always find myself convinced at the end of every season that I won't see him again and surely he'll finally be sold, absolutely amazed that he has managed to stay here for so long and play over 200 games. Really, 32 goals (probably 5-6 pens) in 190 premier league games while partnering Shearer and playing along Solano, Robert etc. is just pitiful.

French papers rate the players out of 5 though, so in effect that's 7.1 and 6.6 which isn't too bad. Nah it is out of 10 (L"Equipe and France Football), he has been absolutely dire. His highest rating was a 5 in a 1-3 loss where he came on as a sub so I doubt it is out of 5. Didn't even make the bench for Monaco's last game. 0 goals 0 assists and 3 shots in 8 games.

How are things going with that anyways? Heard a while back it may be in danger of being moved for the stadiums not being done in time or something? The Ukrainians were having some problems with the construction of the new stadiums and hotels but I think it'll turn out OK for them. On the Polish side the main problem was and still is the AWFUL highway system, like seriously driving on Polish roads is virtually the same as going on a roller coaster ride with endless twists and turns. Other than that everything is on schedule, just a shame they didn't pick Kraków as one of the venues giving it is probably the best looking city in the country.
