Good team, Duff on the bench = proof that Kinnear reads this forum!

I still don't understand why we didn't go for Zico, offering him a 1 year contract at least. + Legendary player who is massively respected around the world + Did well enough for Japan (winning the Asian Cup and only losing 1 game in their qualifying games for the World Cup) + Managed to get Fenerbahce into the Champions League group stages for the first time in their history then only losing 2-3 aggregately to Chelsea in the quarter-finals + Said publicly that he was interested in managing us Instead we go for Venables and Kinnear, further establishing us as the laughing stock of the league

but are they any better than joe.? if they were anygood they would have a few job offers all ready. Aidy Boothroyd. Alan Curbishley, Billy Davies, Avram Grant. Alan Pardew I wouldn't have minded Zico..... "The Newcastle job is one that I would be very interested in taking. It would be a privilege and an honour, I've always wanted to experience the Premier League as I believe I could enjoy much success coaching in England." He also commented that he isn't bothered about the structure of the board at Newcastle United, "I am used to working alongside technical directors so this isn't an issue for me. It's normal for me to work in those conditions."

I actually bothered to count how many time Ince said "you know" in his skysports interview. In 3:30 minutes he said you know 39 times... Top work. quote: "...and you know, I've always said you know, you know, it's important that we entertain the fans and you know...."

Gudjohnsen starting tonight, good enough to start for Barce against Real Madrid but still not good enough for us. At least when I've proposed us signing him I've always been told by people here that he is too old, slow and no better than what we have.....

Judging by statistics Panathinaikos seem to be have the upper hand 62-38 possession 3-0 shots on target 6-0 corners

Harper and Owen definitely, then Viduka if he accepts a pay-as-you-play sort of deal, or a wages cut at least.

Don't understand why Shepherd came out during the summer and stated that Bobby's contract would not be renewed after the season, can't imagine that having a good effect on the squad.

Some positive news at least "I am fighting my illness and I have just recently received some good news about my health and treatment. "I have responded so well to recent treatment that the cancer has not progressed." "Travelling is difficult for me these days and I have to always be assisted and chaperoned. However, I hope in the near future I can visit my beloved Ipswich Town."

Well, at least we haven't offered Butt one either.

Not exactly the kind of honesty fans would want to hear. As I said, this could be a very embarrassing day for them, and something like a 3 or 4 nil defeat will most probably see the end for Schuster. He sounds like he knows the end is near for his job. A very weird thing to say, probably trying to ease the pressure of himself but I think he's just made it worse. Can't imagine the Real fans being very happy.

Real fifth now, 9 points behind Barce. Season over if they won't win next weekend.

Them 2 clowns, nee wonder they are struggling. We'd be relegated by now if we had that pair of useless twats at the back. Just read this on Cannavaro's wiki "His younger brother, Paolo Cannavaro, is also a defender, and plays for Napoli. The two brothers were first spotted by an English scout when Fabio was only twelve. Michael Hutchinson (who was working for Newcastle United at the time) decided to personally train them as central defenders, having sixteen years of experience as a professional central defender himself." Could have tried make them sign for Newcastle you **** Bet we bought Bramble instead
