I think: 1.Owen 2.Duff/Viduka 3.Barton/Smith/Coloccini Martins will probably move up with Duff/Viduka when he signs a new contract. I meant who would be our highest earners...if we weren't paying bit part players and cripples incredibly inflated wages. Like a perfect world. Oh.. in that case Given and Owen.

Which of are biggest wage earners won't be playing? Geremi? Viduka? Smith? I'd rather not pay to say Viduka and Smith limp around, though I'd prefer Geremi to start over Butt anyway. It's actually quite comical that those three you mentioned could be amongst our biggest wage earners. Then we wonder why we are struggling. Still, Geremi and Viduka have done ten times more for this club than Duff (who is our 2nd highest earner I think).

Bet it'll be Zogbia and Duff on the wings with Gutierrez on the bench...

This will be a painful watch, just hope we don't completely collapse once we concede the first goal.

So true.. just look at the statistic of our midfielders, league appearances (goals) for us: Butt 96 (5) Duff 49 (2) Barton 29 (2) [both of them penalties if I'm not mistaken] Gutierrez hasn't played that many games for us, but he isn't really a goalscorer 1 in 99 for Velez and 5 in 96 for Mallorca Then we have Guthrie 0 in 25 for Bolton 0 in 15 for Southampton 0 in 9 for us I'm pretty sure Guthrie scored at least 1 for Bolton tbf His rocket of a volley should have won us the Wigan game. you're so clueless. Isn't Duff's contract til 2010 or something?

One of the most disappointing signings we've ever made. Still remember jumping up and down with joy on the 1st of september after we signed him for 5m, oh how I made fun of my Tottenham supporting mate when I heard he chose us over them. Duff was even tipped to be "Bargain Of the Season" by many media outlets... Now I can't wait to get rid, a disgrace that we are paying 60k a week for a player that contributes so little (at least Dyer isn't on our payroll anymore).

.....especially in London. The whole London curse is starting again, didn't we go through like a million game in a row run without winning against a London club (at their home turf) a few years back?
