  1. Smith and Ameobi still here, sorry but I'm off crying myself to sleep.
  2. apparently he had a very good last season (fifth highest in the league based on goals per minute, think he was injured a lot though so he didn't get that many minutes), so we can expect him to be even better in the next FM
  3. 1944: POSSIBLE DEAL West Ham and Sunderland are set to announce that left-back George McCartney has left Upton Park to rejoin his former club. The fee, I'm being told, is about £6m, which frankly sounds utterly ridiculous.
  4. 497 online.. twelve more to break the record set when Keegan took over
  5. Cool name, definitely getting Xisco on the back of my next Newcastle shirt
  6. daily mail saying alan smith in everton tomorrow for medical, 3m Don't think I'll be able to fall asleep tonight
  7. "What the hell!? Travesty this is! I hate the transfer season! Arbeloa all over again! Dammit dammit dammit!" "I hope this is a wind up. If this is true, we better be getting a whole lot of cash for him. The guy is an U-21 star still on the up and I'll be gutted to see him go." "OK wtf? is this a joke thread? We are not crazy enough to sell our best young player." Well they seem to rate him at least

Imagine the headlines if we'd have 39k turnout
  9. 28 hours Tomorrow will be a long day for my F5 key
  10. Slightly disappointed that we've offered him a pay-raise. We've been off-loading some deadwood players all summer without really replacing them (at least not yet) then we sell Milner because we don't want to give him a better contract, only to save for Owen's new wages? Sends out the wrong signal imo
  11. Well makes sense looking at Nasri after we lost Modric Modric to Nasri to Aimar to ___??
  12. Off to join Everton http://www.grapheine.com/bombaytv/index.php?module=see&lang=uk&code=c9904894a79560d725a3fda1961d7fbc (taken from some everton forum)
  13. Really nervous of us not signing anyone decent before the transfer window closes
  14. If we don't sign an attacking midfielder, I'll give up.
  15. "He wears 'Kuba' on the back of his Dortmund shirt only. Kuba is a diminutive form of Jakub." Problem solved Jonas & Kuba
  16. Jakub Blaszczykowski, right-winger from Dortmund is definitely worth a shot. - Fast - Technical, good dribbler - Started out as a full-back so he can defend alright, could cover the fullback position if Beye got injured - 22 with a lot of potenial, has been developing really fast. Was much better last year than he was two years ago and better now than he was last year. - Has started the season really well and seems to be in top form. Scored a great goal in one of the pre-season matches against Feyenoord, assist in the first Bundesliga match and a goal in the second one against Bayern. Bad: - Expensive, not sure if he'd want to move here. Wouldn't hurt trying at least. - Somewhat wasteful, common to see him go on a brilliant run dribbling past 3 players, only to blast the ball over the stadium in a good situation (even shows on his youtube clips).
  17. WoW he's turning 37 next month, wouldn't mind him though. When playing at Barcelona the medical staff said that they'd never seen a man as fit for his age. So he probably still has a lot to offer.
  18. So boring when the transfer fee is undisclosed, hate when clubs do that
