He needs a run of games to be at his best; he’ll not get that here now. I don’t think today was a day for him to start & I think he only started because of the Brum game. Whatever the plan was for Willock today, it would have been dependent on Bruno & Tonali having at least some control of the midfield today. In some ways Longstaff’s harrying could have been the better option (even over Miley).

For a lauded midfield up against a supposedly weakened, older and slower midfield, we really embarrassed ourselves in there. Don’t need to pick anyone in particular, all of them in the 1st half just didn’t turn up.

Away from home playing the Name and not the players again. We needed to be at them from the start. Instead we sat back and made them comfortable. Very disappointing. Do this in the final again and we get our backside handed to us, again.

Checked up the first 2 Seasons of the Football League, they finished bottom both seasons with respective GD of -25 & -42. Never stood a chance really, poor sods.

What a great stat, founder members as well; Stoke City lost 2-0 in the very first round of fixtures in 1888 and after 136 years and 2372 game their goal difference has never recovered and has been in minus ever since - the highest it's ever beer was when it was at 0 after ten minutes of their first ever league game.

Just remembered that I was around number 850 in the queue it for Semi Final tickets, got through inside 10 minutes and got kicked out. I’m beginning to feel little hard done by.

Yeah, that’s more or less me, applied for all home games, got none. Will now just sign up to all schemes and sell tickets I can’t get to. That’s not right and doesn’t help loyal members but it’s the route I’m forced down.

Well, I only enrolled in the FA Cup scheme this year but ended up in the ballot for the LC games as I decided I’d try and go anyway. Didn’t get a single ticket and have ended up in Pot 6. My take is that so be it. It seems that the club are pushing ST holders into signing up or they’ll not be getting a ticket unless they tried to get tickets on a match by match basis and by luck they were successful in attending via ballot. It’s very hard to get it right. Looks like the pub for me.

We’d need to offer a hefty wage cut if we’re thinking of offering a 1 year extension. He will get injured again and if he doesn’t well he’s had enough paid time off.

I loathe Cucurella (sic) nearly as much as Ashley Barnes at this point. He deserves someone to snap him in half.
