Means I can talk shite & get away with it. You would though, wouldn't ya?
-
No no no. We should not be even mentioning bargain basement signings. Just a thought, we don't know what system Sam will play & he has a midfield of Milner, Emre, Butt, N'Zogbia, Barton, Duff, Dyer & Solano to chose from. Roeder tried Nobby at right back & Sam has apparently mentioned Dyer; how about giving Milner a go? This may suit Sam's formation & would allow Dyer the flexibility to play on the right without perhaps having to hug the touchline. Do I like Dyer? No, do I think he could be a real asset if motivated? Absolutely. Do I think Milner could play RB? From what I have seen Milner could play most positions adequately but I don't think he has the pace to be a top winger.
-
Can only 1 person find a place for Dyer or do you think he's leaving? If he is fit & interested I feel Sam will have to make a place for him. He may be rubbish at finishing but he can wreak havoc with his running. As for Roze; we can only hope he is better that what we have got. I don't think any of us really knows enough about him. We were told Boumsong was a world beater..........
-
Best player seen? Gazza without question. He was simply unplayable in Italia '90. When we played the Dutch he was head & shoulders above anyone else on the pitch. It was his performances that set the tone for the whole team.
-
Ask how much money he has got to spend & when will he get it? We are scrapping around bargain basements when surely we will not need too.
-
The agent seems a bit of an operator. I hope his goods are worth it & not over hyped & priced rubbish.
-
Decent squad player. However, Sam must have guarenteed 1st team football & a striking position (otherwise why join us from Manure?). Does Sam know something we don't - Owen or Martins which one is on his way? Owen wants to go & Martins is "home" in Italy & his buy out clause has just been revealed - coincidence?
-
This has not translated. If you can wait to book your flight then do so.

thus the day is clear?google is s*** lol. We want to order tickets before. As we make best. Newcastle vs Liverpool is a popular match for television. Thus, do not rule out the game being on either Saturday at 12, Sunday at 2pm or 4pm, or maybe even Monday at 8pm. May be a difficult game to get tickets for as well if we are in good form. I think this will be a Champions League week (it was last year). If it is we will not play on the Saturday. We will probably play on the Sunday or it could be the Monday. If this is the game you want I'd advise you against booking up just yet.
-
Yes, from the official club website. SKY & Setanta television have not released their live match dates yet so some of these will be subject to change, normally to a Sunday. Best advise if you are booking early is to stay here both Saturday & Sunday. Otherwise wait until SKY & Setanta announce their dates. I don't know when this will be. SKY's fixture list will be posted here: http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=217652

You will get the fixture list here: http://www.nufc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Fixtures/0,,10278,00.html

I agree. The club can't know at this stage what tickets will become available.
-
I can not believe this, especially at such an early stage. If you miss your deadline the club usually give you another chance. An awful lot of people who told me that they wouldn't renew must have changed their mind. For those who are better off, seats must be still available in the Sports Bar etc. I must admit there have not been any adverts on local radio trying to flog tickets............

I think every Toon supporting genuinely wants him to be fantastic. So much so that observations become taken as criticism by others. Many of the observations are based upon our personal experience of years of watching potentially good centre backs not progressing as they should. Taylor needs coaching, for me the 2 biggest areas for him to look at are to stop getting caught square on & I'd lightly strap his arms to his side in training so he can't pull with them. 8) His commitment last night was brilliant.
-
That's it, you need the full strip for best effect I can't find any photo's. If this were updated - fantastic. At the time the material scratched to hell (as do the replicas).
-
13M seems fair enough to me. I'd be surprised if anyone offered it. This internal review is going to be interesting!
-
Ahhhhhh - yes, bollocks
-
Find a photo - it was class. The socks had 2 green (?) hoops at the top. Derby & Bolton matches on MOD spring to mind with Supermac scoring a belter with his right foot from a throw in.
-
Why can't we have the Yellow Top, Blue Shorts & White Socks from the mid 70's - it was the dogs. An updated version would be just the job.
-
Seems to me that Shearer is trying to influence any possible signing. As said, he knows how the media works. If I were Sam I'd bit a little peeved regardless of whether there is any truth in the story about our interest in Bellender or not. Al could easily have simply said he didn't think it would be a good signing & then tell those in power, if interested, his reasons for this.
-
So joking about Bellamy to an audience of pissed up workers at an after dinner do, is wrong, but belting him one is OK? JWTBH Absolutely, so long as Al doesn't then tell a bunch of pissed up punters at an after dinner do. :rockyII:
-
In his ambassadorial role is Al getting paid from the club? If he is (& I'm assuming he isn't by his comments) he really should not be slagging off Bellender in public no matter his private thoughts. We all know Bellender was a proper tool but he was also a good player for us. If Al wants to get his revenge for the texts etc why doesn't he just go down & belt him one? This running fued should have finished long ago.
-
I'd buy him, whether Whelan would sell him to us is a different matter. We are not going to get Bridge, Bale has gone to Spuds & from I have seen Baines could do a job for us.
-
Jon Stead is being linked to the shooting but police are a little sceptical as 2 shots were on target.
-
As things stand I'd rather he stays. If he goes it is likely to be fairly late on in the transfer window & we will struggle to replace him. We will not buy another big name striker whilst he is here & may not have the time (or available players) if he goes. For the good of the club he really should be forced to say whether he wants to stay. If he declines to state his wishes I'd tout him to all the clubs going as soon as possible. On second thoughts I'd rather he goes. If he does stay & does well he may well leave in January. We don't need this will he/ wont he. Get rid & replace him whilst we still have a couple of months before the season. Let's face it - he does want to go. Or will he stay?
