Don’t disagree but he really stepped up as the man when Bruno went off. For me he’s far more dynamic, more mobile and more of a threat. It’s a really difficult one; if we had to sell one of Bruno, Tonali or Isak, I’d be selling Bruno. My only concern would be Tonali’s commitment to the club.

Tonali really benefitted from Bruno going off and provided a glimpse of what could be. As much as I love Bruno and his connection with the fans I think there’s a real argument that Tonali is the better player and can offer more in the positions Bruno occupies.

Elanga would be a shocking signing. Surely we’ve seen enough of him now (when he actually gets some minutes) to know that his end product is generally poor, that’s he’s not a natural goal scorer and whilst he’s very quick he’s got nowt else. He’s not progressed at all from his Man U time. I’ll be genuinely worried if this is a goer.

Not going to rate the full squad but Bruno and Gordon aren’t Top 4 and never will be. Bruno is just too slow for the very top and Gordon’s end product and finishing isn’t anywhere near good enough.

Got to say that if you’re not at it 100% all game you are likely to get punished, at the very least you have to match or better the opposition levels. It’s unquestionable that we compete more, at home, against the “better” sides. Our intensity has really fallen off, especially away from home, from 2 seasons ago. I don’t think Bruno is an effective captain, I don’t see his influence on other players when we really need to step up. We’ve got to sort it out, we’re muddling along at the moment.
