The beeb reckon they’ll get rid regardless.

Man U really look that they’ve mismanaged him to me.
-
BBC sport suggesting Man U want 40M for Sancho. If it wasn’t for his wages and the fact that Man U would do us over that could be a great signing. Still young and the lad can play.

Shields has also just had a MMA fight and was there last night (was due there anyway). They could fight each other in MMA as Marshall has said it’s unlikely they’d box each other again.

Ah, Authentic Shirt I see.

Wasn’t impressed with Tripps mind. His positioning looked questionable at times and he looks to me to have lost a second or so in thinking. That’s not to mention concentration and touch which also appear a little affected. Small things, if it’s him and Guehi defending our left I have concerns.
-
If we can get him at a good price and he’s prepared to learn, sit on the bench for a couple of years and he fills out, we could be playing a blinder here. We will need a keeper in 2/3 years and Trafford undoubtedly has ability. He looks a bit weak at the moment but that can be sorted by the time he’s No1.

Having 2 design versions is just wrong. May as well get a DHGate knock off if we’re being asked to pay £80 for what could be described as an official knock off. I’ll not be buying either. I’m not paying £80 for a top we won’t be wearing and £110 is way too much.

Playing against a low block having conceded early should have been a good test. However, if you then play at around 85-90% effort it becomes a complete waste of time as you simply can’t create space. Southgate has to get some training drills in as we will face this in the tournament. We’re not going to get some teams to play higher so what we going to do? Foden was wasted last night and there was no need for both Rice and Mainoo to be there. Too predictable, who’d have thought?

Get some bloody width and speed it up.

I’m fairly sure that the club knew they were sailing close to the wind. I guess part of our problem is that other clubs are also getting close and will concentrate spending on what they actually need as opposed to chucking 5M or so for Matt Targett. We need to get a couple of Saudi teams to shift say Miggy and Targett.
-
The rules need changing, some clubs also need protecting. I don’t want to see us just being able to throw money around for a team of mercaneries but I would want to see us build a team who want to be here and for us to be able to spend what that takes. If that means putting escrow type money to safeguard clubs viability I’d be in favour of that. I’d quite like to see salary caps and annual transfer spend caps The PL have almost invited this challenge after kowtowing to certain clubs. They made a mess of our takeover and ever since have tried to introduce rules to limit us. You have to imagine that City believe they have a pretty solid case. Could be popcorn viewing.

I was in the Gallowgate, Pickford got very little stick and nothing around me at all. The only parochial stuff I saw were a few too many NUFC shirts and then a group of Smoggies singing anti NUFC / Shearer song to a middle aged bloke in the bogs wearing a Red England shirt on with Shearer’s name on it. Top bants lads, up there with wiping your arse on a SAFC England flag.

Regardless of whether Wilson stays another CF is the main priority for me. If we can move Almiron on, a RW is next, then another CB (assuming Kelly is in the bag) and then a keeper, preferably an up and coming keeper as Pope still has a couple of years left imo. We need to get a few players off the books, with the best fees possible and not simply playing chuck out. Our transfer business is going to be a game of chess. Not getting Tosin is a blow short term, I’m not sure how good he is and he could have ended up on a long contract, with a big wage and limited game time. As has been mentioned, Chelsea could be playing a game of buy to sell with him. Let’s hope he tanks.
-
I’d love to be able to sell him, sure the club would. He’s a ball and chain of increasing length given his contract length, salary and the quality of player now ahead of him. Realistically he’s going out on loan to a newly promoted club with us covering at least half his wage. If we manage to sell him, happy days, too young for Saudi?
-
We need to tell Targett to find a new club and we’ll accept 5M or a little less. He’s got a contract until 2027 and he’s not going to get game time. He had a great season on loan for us but he’s deadwood now. Willock is a hugely important player for us, he provides something different, he can break lines and can take a chance. Unless our reliable medical team are convinced he’s made of Lego he has to stay.
-
Don’t understand Kompany to Bayern tbh. Does he speak any German, is Muller retiring? He’s got a job on, they produced some horrific performances last season.
-
That’s genuinely the best line up they can come up with; really? Nee wonder Henderson did off if Bally is the midfield maestro.
-
He looks weak as piss at times. We’re not the best at protecting our keeper from set pieces/ corners either.
-
Well yeah, I was perhaps taking 5 years as a bit literate - let’s just say end of next season.
-
Targett would be an absolute belter to get off the books, he’s here until 2027 or something like that.
-
Signed a 5 year deal in Sept 2020 according to internet thingy.
-
Think his contract runs out Sept 25 so I guess we’ll take what we can and run.
