    Joelinton

Signed until 2028. Not sure when it’ll be announced but it’s come almost from the horses mouth.
  2. I’m imagining this is how he looked giving this interview. Pure gold. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/jun/18/newcastleunited-alan-pardew
  3. Awful disease, rip. Remember his appointment like yesterday, still can’t believe it. Could have been so different if he’d signed that Shane Ferguson lad.
  4. Chris Sutton really shouldn’t be allowed to co commentate on Old Firm games.
  5. Burn jumped earlier and was higher than the Fulham player who was jumping backwards. Contact is allowed, neither player got near the ball, there’s no way that Burn’s “push” prevented the defender reaching the ball. Only Burn had a chance of that. In fact the push took place after the ball had cleared the pair of them. Never a foul, never clear and obvious. VAR seemingly were looking for something that really wasn’t there and the referee should have shown some balls and stuck with his onfield decision.

    Joe Willock

It was a knock to the shin area but, he’s clearly not anywhere near fully fit. If we didn’t have the injuries we have I’d imagine he’d be looking at getting some minutes on as a sub. He looks a real risk of picking up a further knock, related or unrelated.

    St James' Park

1980’s, every game, everyone bopping. Bring it back.
  8. Absolutely threw 2 points away last night. Everton fans must hate watching the continuous hoof ball they are playing, no attempt to play football. I have some sympathy with the “good” Everton fans, the rest deserve to see their team go down, it might do them some good. One thing is certain, if they do stay up, they’ll be a nothing club and continue to stink the league out. Pickford must have kicked the ball a good few miles last night.
  9. That’s why I’m asking if it’s an April’s Fool. Adidas HQ, rights lads here’s the new font for the letters and numbers, here is number 44 on the away shirt showcasing inclusivity…

Didn’t know he lived in the woods. He’s got some walk from the bus stop back home, video edited by Paul Whitehouse? He also needs to have a word with the bloke making faces in the background. Enjoyed that.
  11. Is this an April Fools? Story goes that Adidas have “banned” Germans having the number 44 on the new home kit. Sorry if already asked.
  12. I’ve read Joe Cole was slagging off the medical team and blaming them for Miggy’s hamstring strain. Must have missed Miggy pointing to his knee and talking to the bench about it. Must have missed the incident when it happened as well. Just as well he wasn’t there as a pundit…..

QPR were 4 up in the 1st half against us the season before KK arrived as a player. They absolutely murdered us and got to the FA Cup Final as well. They had some really good players. Sunny day as I remember and they took their foot off the pedal 2nd half. The season before against QPR was this:

Hope O9 sent his rallying Easter email message from a no reply address.
  15. So we now need to sign a CB as an absolute must. FFP really should allow teams to spend if they can afford it, has to be some exceptions. It’s ridiculous.

    Harvey Barnes

He’s not particularly quick or skilful, doesn’t hit the line and put crosses in. He does make fantastic runs for others to pick and he’s a finisher. It’s almost like he shouldn’t play on the wing, never going to be a centre forward, not going to play off a centre forward either. He’s a bit of a one off in what he offers.

    Joe Willock

Doesn’t look match fit to me, needs a run of games and feels like he’s missing Big Jo. But

    Harvey Barnes

In simple terms, you can either finish or you can’t. You might score a few and go on a bit of a run without ever looking comfortable. Barnes is a fairly average PL winger but his movement and finishing is top class, you can’t coach that, the winner was a thing of beauty.
