Anyone been able to get anything other than a standing ticket? -
Possible push on the West Ham player who headed the ball would be my guess.

I’m sure if you look at KUMB they’ll be raging at the referee. Moyes should be asking for a reply.

Pope isn’t infallible, he’s made a few mistakes but, he’s still a class act and talk of replacing him is just a bit imo. Who do you get, how much do they cost and do their shortfalls make up for Popes weakness with his feet and occasional keeping mistakes? Clubs have thrown stupid money at frankly pretty average keepers. I’m more than happy with Pope; he’s only 31, right? Good 2 years left at the very top.

We have to be happy with the point. We’re 1 nil down, Bruno should be off and it was never a free kick for our equaliser. We should have won from there but we can’t complain. Had we not have been missing Joelinton, Willock, Gordon and Barnes I’m pretty sure our substitutions would have been different and we’d have won. Fresh legs and experience from the bench cost us.

I’d bring Wilson on now for Anderson

Membership > ballot? I’ve a mate who got a PSG ticket in the ballot and another 2 who have picked up ballot tickets for most league games so far. Both have been successful once the resales up come up - keep refreshing seems to be the key as they drop available randomly.

Where would we play him? Serious question.

I really struggle with female commentators. It’s nowt to do with what they say (most make more sense than say Clinton Morrison) it’s more to do with the shrieking. It’s like listening to the missus when she’s had a drink. Some really good presenters and analysts but the commentary makes my ears bleed. Sorry, but I really do dislike it.

Just my thoughts on Pope kicking it into the East Stand late on at 3-1. It takes far longer to get the ball and for the opponent to take the throw than it does for Pope to hoof the ball downfield for the oppo to start a new attack. I reckon it perhaps wasted up to a minute and put PSG into worse onfield position; wide and we could mark up for the throw ins. Intentional or not, I quite liked it.

Was definitely his fault, he stopped chasing back 5 yards into his own half. That allowed us the space and time in the immediate build up to the goal. I mentioned to my mate that Mbappe had stopped chasing and we could be in. You simply can’t stop chasing.

Really pleased for him, didn’t put a foot wrong (well apart from that attempt at a chest control when the ball was begging to be headed across goal).
-
He does need to control his emotions at times. Another referee/ VAR might have sent him off for that stupid slap/ punch and he also tried, and missed, taking someone out near the dug outs. Outstanding all the same.

Pity about the arsehole behaviour of some of our fans pre match but allowing that Ultra March to the stadium was always going to see some of that. It nearly properly kicked off on Barrack Rd beside the Tesco Extra. Traffic bollard got chucked which sparked a bit of an exchange.
