The referee in the Brighton game is having a bit of a shocker.
-
Ray Wilkins seemed to do ok at Milan? Always seemed like a nice bloke.
-
He needs English lessons just as much as training sessions at the moment. There’s a clear lack of connection with his team mates at the moment. He really doesn’t look comfortable with what he’s doing. He could be a great player for us but he’s a lost soul at the moment. It can’t be easy and there’s no quick fix
-
Would have taken a point beforehand. Game was definitely there to be won. We played it far too safe imo. No idea how we’ll approach the PSG game. You have to win your home games.
-
Imperative we get Tonali’s English to an acceptable level. He’s really struggling to make any impact and a large part has to be communication.
-
Missing Willock imo
-
Yeah, I’d be taking Tonali off, not sure who I’d bring in though. We need Wilson on definitely
-
We’re not playing with any freedom and look a little afraid to make a mistake. We’ve been 2nd to balls we should be winning and hesitancy has caused a few misplaced passes and offsides. Step it up and we can win this. We look far too happy to keep it at 0-0.
-
Play the match and not the occasion. We can do these.
-
All I can see there is Adam P, Top Shagger.
-
The referee missing a foul is no excuse for his kicking out.
-
He’s still a bit off the pace and that booking was complete school boy nonsense. It was verging on violent conduct. Not the first time either.
-
Agreement in place for Moshri to sell all his shares to 777.
-
I know they were playing at Kingston Park but did they have to go for touch like that from the Kick Off? Bizarre. Least said about Stoke’s goal the better. Good luck lasses.
-
Did hear someone shout “you’re getting relegated” as they passed him.
-
What’s Tueart done? We released him as a school boy and he twice thought he’d signed for us. Can’t fault him for winning the Cup for Sunderland or scoring the winner in the LCF against us. Both Stokoe and Tueart are black and white. Bobby Charlton on the other hand is a miserable Manc and England legend. Don’t think he could find Ashington on a map these days.

Could be, we’d had a few by then. It was a long thin bar with the bar itself on the right pretty much as you walked in. The place was wall to wall Alkmaar stuff, everyone had a top on and the place was jumping. We decided we couldn’t just turn heel and walk out so stayed. We were told a few of them weren’t too happy so we left at HT. Alkmaar was a pretty strange place, we struggled to find a “busy” bar that had the match and then stumbled into The Adelphi on speed. -

I’m late 50’s going to Dortmund with no guarantee of a ticket or more likely, I will, mates won’t. We all went to AZ Alkmaar without tickets and ended up in the only, biggest, AZ Alkmaar bar in the city, 10 or so minutes into the match. We were 2-0 down, we all had our Newcastle tops on and had been drinking all day. Everyone else in the pub had Alkmaar tops on, huge projector screen, banners all over the place, which was jumping. Absolute tumbleweed moment when we rolled in. Obvs we couldn’t just walk out so strolled to the bar and ordered 3 pints. At HT we were invited to leave. -
He’s also just moving into a new house. Had quite a bit going on in the back ground.

So, you might need to collect your ticket from a yet to be confirmed location in Milan and security checks at the turnstiles include you producing either your original Passport or Driving Licence. That quite frankly is ridiculous. Some will have find time to visit some yet to be confirmed location at huge inconvenience and everyone will be walking around with a big placard saying steal a Passport or DL here (assuming I haven’t already lost it). Seriously, are they just not wanting fans to go to the game? -
We flew to Genoa on the day, train to Turin stayed in The Best Western close by. We found a couple of places to drink before and a restaurant to drink in after the game. The police were a disgrace and though we got the tram there we were all herded onto over crowded buses on the way back into town, blue lighted most of the way. Loads of fans had phones taken off them after the match as we tried to get out of the stadium. It was almost comical the way the police let the home fans through the police line to chuck objects at us during the match. We returned to Genoa the next morning for a few pints on a lovely marina thing they had.

He made a couple of mistakes for Brighton’s 1st. He also secured us Champs League football with some of saves last season, none more so than against Leicester, in the last minute of the last home game, avoiding any need for a point at Chelsea. Think we can all say we thought Castagne had scored.
-
Don’t think we’re getting the run of the Green at the moment but, there’s some bedding in to be done. We’re nowhere near as fluid as we were last season. We look like we might be missing Willock’s runs and Bruno/ Jo and Tonali need work on the training pitch. It’s not quite there.

Have we killed Alan Smith’s family? He has a rabid hatred towards us.
