The U11 girls Premier League Primary Stars team got to play at Elland Road in Monday in the finals. Won 3 out of 4 but missed out on GD to Man U. Best thing is that they travelled on the 1st team bus and had personalised strips. Absolutely fantastic.

Quality and supply has always been the problem with Castore. At one point the club were taking them to court over it.

If some loon had told me at the start of the season before last that Miggy would score goal of the season, with Joelinton as player of the season and we’d qualify for the Champs League I’d have driven them back to the funny farm.

McTominay, at the right price, would bring competition to the place Longstaff has. They’re pretty similar and it’s an important position for us, we’ve seen what Longstaff’s work does for us. McTominay is pretty mobile, tall and does the donkey work. At the right price and the right position, I can see why we’d be interested.

I did say hope and not need. An early signing would certainly help smooth the potential signing of a player with doubts. If I were Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs, I’d try and go in early and pretty hard. Not sure Spurs can do that mind. It’s going to be an interesting summer.

Looking at the moves Liverpool and Chelsea are making I really hope we get a bit of a “statement” signing in soon (not particularly high money but I didn’t think he’d go to Newcastle signing). Mourinho needs charged, he incited this and Taylor’s family were put a risk. I thought Taylor did well in a toxic game, neither team covered themselves in glory. Taylor made a decision on what he was for the penalty (and from his position, easy to see why) and it was a very faint touch that he wouldn’t have seen. If Roma had won, Mourinho will have felt (privately)that his antics were the deciding factor. I’d ban the twat for at least 3 games and that’s generous. He’s been doing this for far too long now.
