  1. Still seen regularly out and in Ponteland. Vastly underrated player, watch some videos of him in his pomp at Liverpool. So good.
  2. I think the lasses might as well not go. They’re about 5 key players down.
  3. Just about every time I watch Man U since the League Cup Final I become that little more disappointed with our performance. Hope Brighton play the opposition and not the occasion.

Was there as well, the bottle seemed to hang in the air, made a canny bang and then dropped into the crowd. I don’t think anyone could quite believe it. I think the game just kind of carried on. I was there when the Everton fans were in the paddock in the East Stand near the Gallowgate Corner. There was hell on, we ended up on the pitch along with loads of others. I’m not saying those were the days but, it was an experience back then.
  5. That pitch at Bayern is awful
  6. It’s ok, it didn’t contribute to the goal……
  7. Just seen this, Gordon Chisholm scored the own goal. The best bit was when Clive Walker put his penalty wide of the post. Looked like he’d scored from where we were. I was there with a mini bus of Sunderland fans and my mate give me a spare ticket the night before as they couldn’t get anyone else to go at short notice. Crazy.

I’m not sure if it’s opposition teams working the ball to leave him exposed or if we’ve dropped a level but, he’s not getting the cover he needs against quick wingers. It’s made worse when the officials can’t see that being bigger and stronger than the winger doesn’t equate to a foul. Buendia won fouls today simply because of this. Before today I thought Howe would stick with him, I think he may now need a rest. Having said that, we were very lethargic across all of the back line and midfield.
  9. We never got a foot hold. Might be a bit simplistic but they had more energy in midfield, used their pace well and played the officials very well. When they were in a spot of bother they had McGinn, Buendia or Young take a tumble and almost every time get a free kick. With Watkins on fire they’ve become a very effective team.
  10. They’ve deservedly won - pity they’ve got a good 4 or 5 players who are complete shit houses.
  11. Move on, next week is the big one. A long run of away games and a more energetic home side have done for us. We’ll beaten today.
  12. I’d go 442 second half, keep it wide and away from the middle.
  13. We’ve been out worked in the middle and their pace is causing chaos in in back line. Bruno doesn’t look fit to me. I actually think we’ve missed Longstaff’s non stop running.
  14. McGinn and Buendia are a horrible pair of divings twats tbf.
  15. The space they’re getting between the half way line and our box is ridiculous.
  16. We’re the new pantomime villain on most message boards now. We’ve bought our way up the league, bribed officials, have VAR favouring us, we kick our way through games and have the luck of the devil. Brentford fans wanted Isak sent off, Burns as well and one of them was adamant that Toney was onside. I know I’ll be guilty of bias but, I do try not to be. I’ve visited a few forums for views and it’s like I’ve watched a different game. Forest was a belter.

  18. We’re generally 1/5 to finish top 4. Far too short imo. We’ve a tough game at Villa and then a real crunch game with Spurs. I’d actually accept defeat at Villa if we could guarantee a win against Spurs.
  19. Should also add that Holjbjerg acted like a complete twat throughout the game judging from the hi-lights. Lucky not to be sent off.
  20. That VAR table should also include incidents that VAR should have asked the ref to view, but didn’t, and also where VAR have overturned a correct/ not clear and obvious error. I refuse to believe we are 2 points up on decisions this season. Pope is is the only decision, against Wolves, where I can immediately think we got away with one. We’ve had some right howlers the other way. A lot of our “positive” VARs have been pretty clear that the ref got it wrong in the 1st place. That Palace decision could yet mean we miss out on Champs League.
  21. Don’t have a problem with him being unhappy. He did well when he came on.
