Brilliantly relative to his extremely low standards he's set over the past couple of years, maybe. He's now putting in the level of performance he should have been displaying during the entirety of his time here, but that doesn't make up for 2 years of absolute dross. He's still prone to dropping us right in the shit as he very almost did on a couple of occasions on Tuesday night (and that's discounting the daft tackle that led to their goal). I can't wait to see the back of him and I'll make no apologies for that.

There was one touch/pass in particular in the first half which was absolutely sublime. He took 2 players out of the game in what seemed like a really tricky situation. He's genuinely brilliant.

I'm not sure how clear it was on the telly, but he stood on the sidelines with Miggy and Manquillo just staring at the Everton half/the Gallowgate for ages before he came on. It looked like he was asking to be brought on a few times too. He was raring to go. It's gonna be fun watching him from the off!

He's still a liability, like. That tackle was followed by a couple of hospital balls in the second half. One day soon he won't be here and we won't have to worry about him anymore.

He looked stronger than I can remember ever seeing him in that second half today. Several lung-busting runs and he was knocking people out of the way at times. He did very well for Fraser's goal and was unlucky not to score himself. Hopefully this is him back on track.

Thought he was frustrating as owt in the first half. That said, he still almost created a goal out of nothing. Second half though, good lord. He must be an absolute nightmare to play against when he's on it. How would you even begin to try stopping him?

Well that was unreal. I managed to get one of the siblings' tickets at the last minute. Trippier was different class, Targett was solid as a rock, and Willock stepped it up tonight. Such a good second half all round really. If ASM had passed it back to Bruno for the tap-in, man.

Him taking the freekick took me by surprise for some reason. What a moment.

Absolutely gutted I won't be there tonight, like. I hope it's an atmosphere to remember. I think I'll have to go to the pub because the tension will be too much without a beer in hand.
