I think it's pie in the sky stuff to think any manager would've come in, stripped him of the captaincy, and dropped him straight off the bat. That said, it's painfully obvious he's not the player/influence he once was and worse, he's now a liability. Howe/whoever is identifying transfer targets obviously realises we need multiple centre halves to improve, so his days are (hopefully) numbered. If Howe persists with him once we have these promised centre halves in/Fernández is back then we're fucked (more so than we already are).

He was mostly horrendous in the first half, like. Seemed like he only beat his man once just before half time. He's been incredibly frustrating to watch of late. That goal though, wew.

Looking through our squad, there's only Wilson who's scored goals consistently at this level throughout his career. Gayle has never been up to it. Of the rest, Ritchie probably comes closest but he's been finished for years. It's a huge problem and one that needs fixing immediately with new blood.

He's been really, really disappointing like. He looks like he'd rather be anywhere than here, which is fucking infuriating when he's phoning in performance after performance.

We desperately, desperately need a goalscorer. We need a beast who's capable in the air as well as the deck. ASM was absolutely shocking. We seem to have signed Willock's shite identical twin. Their goal was comically shite defending/keeping. Dear me.
