Derby... Wigan... etc etc etc as apposed to Man U, Arsenal, Liverpool, Villa

I always kind of sneered at fans of clubs who "celebrated" surviving relegation.... until that goal went in. Cant think of a goal we have scored since that one that I have celebrated more. Was close to tears We have to cling on to hopes like these but its a different division and I am struggling to hang on to those hopes

We wouldnt have gone gung ho at any minute under Sam and would still have lost as they would have come at us a ton more than we allowed them to
-
All of this is irrelevant anyway because we are never going to have any success, never going to win a cup, we are never going to have a manager that is going to get us back into the champions league and world class players arent coming here ever again. We are a shite club pretending to be otherwise and any manager who comes here is going to fail

If it helps keep take their eye of the relegation battle then fine

Finally, someone without their head up Keegans arse! Form the outside its different, my housemates all feel similar to the above (arsenal, Blackbuurn and Tramemre fans). And they don't watch us, so what has they think got to do with anything? I've been at every home game, I was at Wigan and Fulham. I know exactly how s*** we were under Allardyce. Don't really give a toss what casual outsiders think (no offence intended, 1878, or indeed you, SpinS. I'm not trying to play the soopafan card or anything.) I agree, SA football was shit, but we were more solid and probably wouldn't be in this mess. Casual outsider I may be, but a bit of realism sometimes hurts. I dont know what that means ?

We would have been worse off because I dont think we would have even got the couple of points that we have got under KK. Would have averaged less than 1 chance per game given the opposition that Kevin has had
-
Who the hell would buy us now? Reckon he has no chance but to put everything into an instant return.. with KK as manager. I would be convinved KK would clear out the utter shite currently representing us and would create a decent side again

We don't have any debts. I am just worried about the players salaries/contract... is that goinig to be a millstone around our necks ? -

When/if we go down, what is going to happen with us financially or do we think that Ashley will bankroll us in the hope that we will immediately just come straight back up ? I can seriously see Leeds MKII happening to us now -

I have to admit to being prepared for the worst but I think in 2 weeks from now we will have our answer. I would even dare to suggest that a loss at Birmingham next Monday will near enough seal our fate I just want the season to be over because I hate being a miserable fuck around my family. Its just not fair on them. -
I have had enough. Good night all.
-
I am praying that that little ankle jarring that Torres appeared to get will have him rested for Saturday. Still wont be enough to avoid defeat but could be the difference between a 2-0 and a 4 or 5-0
-
If luck was on our side we would be playing West Ham on Saturday
-
How does Barry Horne get a job co-commentating on the Liverpool game on Sky. I can hardly understand a word he is saying
-
not the usual amount of european giants in there are there. Without doubt an English winner this year. Knowing their luck I will go with Liverpool again. Whoever is the weakest of that 8, Liverpool will draw them

Guilty as charged of more paranoia but on ITV text tonight, at the bottom of the football healines.. something like page 412 the headline was : FL2 : Magpies agree deal to pay off Sam. The story was about Notts County and some player called Hector Sam. Is it me or did they deliberately make that headline to suggest it was something to do with us
-
I heard Alan Brazil having a pop at this this morning saying that KK should have said "No.. we are concentrating on the league and Premiership survival". Irani told him straight away that it had been agreed ages ago and it was for charity... I thought it was funny... helps take the pressure off and puts a smile on the face of the players for a change
-
Brilliant Arsenal.. great result but also well done for just getting a point at Birmingham just 2 weeks ago- fuckers !!!
-
So Sky have hauled Allardyce in to watch one of their games on SSN. Its paranoia I know but you get the impression that they love taking on failed Newcastle managers just to wind us up
-
Aye but against West Ham in the PL
-
Just flicked over at half time and saw him. They are fixated with ex Toon Managers.... Gullit, Souness, Allardyce.
-
Saw him at Sea World in Orlando last June... seemed happy with life !

Those teams are scrapping for their lives and picking up points. I don't know who they're playing but teams like Tottenham who have nowt to play for might just hand them the points. Where the league matches fall in relation to the Uefa cup games might well have a significant bearing on how Spurs' results go(assuming of course that we get past PSV).. I can also envisage them playing noticeably worse away compared to performances at home. Newcastle, Boro and Bolton are at WHL, we've still to meet Wigan and Reading away. FWIW, I've just gone through the BBC predictor again and my bottom 3 are still Derby, Fulham and Bolton, Newcastle come 16th, a point ahead of Wigan and 4 pts ahead of the drop zone. I've always said I can't see Newcastle going down because there are too many poor teams at the bottom. KK & Co will have the summer to start putting things right. I seem to be a lot more positive than quite a few here. After Readings win on Saturday and assuming Fulham and Derby are gone, we are the poorest of the poor at the bottom
