I don't think there can be any doubt that there has been lots going on since the 'withdrawl'. The question is whether you believe anything has been achieved since, or if all efforts have been in vain.

Heaven knows I would never want to stick up for Robbie Savage but you could say that his tweet is genuinely asking NUFC fans to explain why they aren't happy, despite the current league position. I know I'm probably giving him too much credit and he is likely to be on the wind up to get attention and callers.

I don't think Bruce is intelligent enough to be clever with his words. If he's commented about not being in the job much longer, that'll be him trying to be funny in light of all the criticism he's been getting. He isn't daft enough to let slip something about the takeover though.

I think Ashley would only sack him if we were clearly cut adrift at the bottom. I think we'll stumble around 4th/5th bottom eventually and Ashley will gamble on luck keeping us out of the bottom three. Bruce is a perfectly willing puppet; Ashley will only let him go in an extreme situation imo.

I'm not quite there yet. Feels like we've had these kind of tenuous links before.
