I don't think anyone is suggesting Vlach is the second coming of Courtois, but he's certainly not bad and he is actually our player. Have seen him a few times and have always been fairly impressed. For whatever reason we've completely frozen him out and trashed his value from day 1 so not sure it's salvageable anyway.

I'd give him the opportunity to present a plan, which I'm sure he has, detailing squad changes, tactical development etc and give him the chance to learn from any errors. I think my main disappointment has been the last few games, where we have had chance to get on the training ground, and seeing zero difference our improvement. I think players have fucked him over too. Isak, Wissa, Gordon, Tonali (lesser extent) etc, though I don't think that's a unique problem to us.

The first half I was right above Barnes vs Jiminez and he made him look like an amateur. Faster, stronger, tactically superior. He gave him zero time and Barnes couldn't handle it. Was impressed, only 20 too, going to be a good player.

Ramsdale is woeful. I can't understand why people think he should play ahead of Pope. Not least, he's not even our player and will hopefully be away soon. Anything that comes in the box he's busy doing star jumps and windmilling his arms like some sort of mental cocaine-fuelled street dancer.

This guy was bloody terrible yesterday. I'm not sure he did a single thing right all game.

I am a big critic of Elanga, and think he's been incredibly terrible. But its not worth selling him at a huge loss, given his age, quite yet. As said above, I'd sell Gordon and Murphy and try to get 2 replacements in. Keep Elanga and Barnes as backup and pray they stop being chod.

I don't entirely disagree, but Gordon just went like a year without a goal or assist, his return without penalties is totally rubbish.

Never seen a worse performance than his against Athletic Bilbao (I think) was so bad he pretended to be injured and went off. Something he did recently as well.
