Went to a charity night with wor lass yesterday, "an evening with Tino". (and his Colombian translator, all presented by Steve Wraith) Fantastic night with some great stories from him including John Barnes being the biggest porn lover at the club, hating Freddy Shepherd, having a bad relationship with Dogleash, and drinking before scoring on his debut. He hopes we qualify for the Champions League, and says he feels like Newcastle is his second home (geordie lasses made him very "welcome" when he first arrived in his fur coat in the snow ) Got a nice big photo of him signed scoring against Barca, and he signed my old Tino shirt with the shield on the back)

Bank holiday the day after this game too, out all day like many folk, can't wait! St.James' will be rocking on Sunday afternoon, and will be very intimidating for the City players, exactly what we need.

Just read nearly every page of this thread, don't think I'll get to sleep (craic with oldtype was amazing) I can not put in words what that second goal means to the whole geordie nation, after the final whistle against Wigan everyone was gutted, fast forward to tonight, and we're beating Chelsea away. Fucking mental season, never forget it. Our fans we're excellent down there tonight, hope they enjoy every second of it.
