  1. They're going to want a premier league tour of 1 minutes silence in every game for how nasty Newcastle United have been to them not letting them have the shiny new thing they want
  2. This is so blatantly obvious, word gets out that he's definitely, categorically not for sale and he will be reintegrated into the team when he's ready, straight after Liverpool say they won't bid again until they get an open door from us. 24 hours later Isak hoys his toys out the pram and says he'll never play for us again no matter what and all of a sudden the bin dippers are readying a new bid to intimate his paddy has worked and we're willing sellers?! We need to double down, give our response publicly quoted that Isak is not for sale this window within seconds of their derisory offer and a very public tapping up complaint. I'm done with this man child and the perpetual victim club, scorched earth, they cannot win this one under any circumstances.
  3. It is telling that there has been no official quotes from any party, this is just all a game to get us to capitulate and let him go on the cheap. About time Yasir put him straight about the legality and meaning of a contract that was signed in good faith by both parties, fly him to Ryadh for a little 1 to 1.
  4. I hope that in their arrogance that Liverpool put in a deadline day bid for Isak and get brutally rebuffed and on 2nd September Ekitike rips both his hammys to shreds
  5. New contract, £250k pw, £130m buyout clause (£200m for Liverpool) and you have to sack your agent
  6. Hilarious amounts of teenage huff going on here, suck it up Alex you're not going to that party in Liverpool, you're grounded.
  7. This is what it's going to take, an official statement that they've pulled out or the window closing, while there's even the smallest chance of this happening Isak will continue to huff and sulk, once his options become zero he will come crawling back.

I genuinely think if we get him in this week then he starts at Villa and Gordon moves forward when he's gassed.
  9. I don't think he deserves one after the way he's acted but from the clubs perspective I think it's wise, they can protect themselves with clauses and even extend the amortisation to reduce PSR spend, plus Isak gets extra incentive to stay and play so it's a win/win.
  10. What kind of team lets a star player leave at the end of a transfer window with no possible replacement? It's not a dangerous game, it's Russian roulette with 6 full chambers.
  11. It looks pretty much set in stone when you take emotion out of it, we're not getting a suitable replacement in now. Once he realises there's no way out for him, if not before it will be on 2nd September, then he will have no choice but to come crawling back and Howe will integrate him back in the team.
  12. I echo the statement that Isak has tainted watching it back which is a shame because now I want to hate watch us smash them in the final again.
  13. £130m + £10m doesn't really get us that much after amortisation and sell on clause.
  14. I just dont see the Saudis allowing him to go to the scousers after the disrespect they and Isak have shown here, they'll let him rot. Plus like I said earlier, the club aren't confident any of the strikers left on the market are elite or potentially elite enough to replace him. Might take a few weeks but he'll swallow his pride and come back with his tail between his legs.
  15. Yeah he looks perfect foil to unlock a pass under a press, can release our wingers quickly and turn a game on its head, exciting prospect.
  16. His close ball control, decision making and his eye for a pass in tight spaces along with his accuracy is insane for his age, I know this is just a small snippet but he looks extremely promising, snap him up!
  17. My prediction is that we get Wissa or Jackson to replace Wilson and move our focus to CM and leave Isak to sulk, then on the 2nd September we put a new contract in front of him with a release clause (if it's up to the Saudi's it will be a no Liverpool clause) and he will sign it and come back into the fold. Any further attempts to sign Isak from Liverpool will be met with a short, sharp, " do one", no way we sell him now, it seems pretty evident we don't feel any strikers left on the market offer up as an acceptable replacement for Isak.

Maybe we should make a play and force them to spend a large portion of their Isak kitty so it's game over?
  19. I hate 50% of this forum, so there's that too
  20. They were so vulnerable down the channels when they pushed up, Palace had a lot of joy with the ball over the top to Munoz, Elanga will have a field day.
  21. Availability, price and level of risk to allow Isak to leave comfortably, there's a lot of factors to consider and it doesn't look like we're happy with the potentially available options.
  22. I think that's an unfair judgement of what he's written, he's unequivocally not for sale right now and it would take a very unlikely set of specific circumstances for that to change, there's no chance we sell him because those circumstances can't be met this window in the clubs eyes. We need to replace Wilson and there's no one out there they feel comfortable will come close to replacing Isak, Ekitike was that player, Sesko was another option, no one else seems to meet that criteria, I think there are players out there but atm they're too risky.

Well, more fool you, because Adam Pearson said Porto are willing to sell him to us and if Adam Pearson says so, it must be true!
  24. Bring me the head of Anfield Agenda
  25. Is it bad to pray for some injuries? Nothing bad, just enough to derail the start of their season for them. Hope they get humbled today.
