Can't help but feel that most of the noise about it being an easy win for Liverpool and worst season ever is coming from the likes of Man Utd supporters as they lick their lower half wounds. Liverpool have beaten what's been put in front of them, what else can they do? Yes there's an element of fortune there that City are way off it and their closest rival is a hit and miss Arsenal side that could still finish 3rd in a 2 horse race. I think a lot of teams are in transition and there's a change in the pecking order at the top end of the table, the likes of us and Villa will make life more difficult for the league leaders in the seasons to come and dare I say it, spend some time there ourselves.

It wasn't all that long ago people, myself included, were saying he was one of our best players and underrated. It's not all about creativity, but the ball for Isak was one of the best assists I've ever seen. Let's not forget how many times he turned the tide of a game on its head by carrying the ball up the other end and creating an attack from nothing. A fit Willock, back to his best is still an asset to this team, people have short memories.

Dreading this one, can't call it, looking at the two teams current trajectories you'd put us down for the win, but it's always a tricky one for us. Normally I'd say snap your hand off for a draw, but we need all 3 with so many teams sniffing round the top spots.

For those keep asking: Man City have got Wolves (H), Southampton (A), Bournemouth (H) and Fulham (A). They're not gonna drop any points now, so we need to stay ahead of Chelsea (who we get to play at home) and Villa (Who lost tonight potentially putting us 5 in front if we beat Ipswich). Villa have a relatively easy fixture list but if we win our home games they can't catch us and Chelsea have the toughest run in of all of us. Man City winning tonight puts us in pole position for top 4 and now with a cushion.

Preferable City win but draw next best result

Horrific attempt at a save that City are gonna finish top 4 so we'd rather them win leaving Villa 2 behind and us with a game in hand, win against Ipswich and we're 5 clear.

It's mad because when he talks about the game as a pundit he comes across as very knowledgeable, but just doesn't seem to be able to translate that knowledge to a football pitch.

A mate of mine is from Plymouth so I keep a close eye on them, ultimately Rooney killed their chances of staying in the league but it's gotta be frustrating finally winning a match and everyone around you wins too meaning nothing changes!

I'm not so sure, we've beaten them 3 times already this season, home and away and I think by the time we play them they'll have nothing to play for, won't be able to finish any higher than 2nd of lower than maybe 3rd by that point, where as we could still be battling for that CL spot. We'll see but I fancy us for the win again.
