a few pages back you have people posting screen shots of his stats. I see you take it literally as oppose to a very clear expression of what I think of McTominay.

No. What breaks me are people on here justifying him as being a good buy. He is absolutely not what you want if you are aiming for top 4 and CL. He would be an aweful transitional investment as well. What you want is Bruno and Botman type of quality.

Quite obvious tbh. If we don’t, then we might as well forget top 6. But we need more than that.

I’m not sure how buying a Manure reject is going to make us compete in the top 6? It has never worked out for us buying rejects from Manure. We need WAY better than what we got now. WAY better. McTominay is not that. He provides depth. That’s it imo. If we are buying from top 6 I’d rather look in to what Chelski has to offload in the summer. Their squad is superbloated.
