  1. They were better, much better. The gulf in quality between the sides are huge.
  2. Haven’t won a League game since 15th January. Lucky win, really. Been rather gash since new year tbh.
  3. Shelvey and Colback in the same midfield
  4. I think we will invest, but we are utter shit in depth. Absolute garbage. I think the clearest evidence was the Sheff Wed match. AS 've said in oher threads, still very disappointed with the January window. Think it'll come back to bite us this season. Brilliant business re-couping £19m for Wood - by all means. But letting him and Shelvey leave, from a performance pov, might turn out to be a huge, huge mistake imo. Rather have Wood and Shelvey in the 25-man squad than Krafth and Gillespie.
  5. I do read the news, you know. As I’ve said, I don’t think they will be punished that hard. Modern football is broken in so many ways. As things are now, I think there will be formed a Super League somewhere in the future.
  6. Yes. Also, Chelsea are giving out insane contract lengths. Don’t believe they will be punish that hard tbh.
  7. Chelsea (Todd Boehly) and Man City says Hi! Who cares, football is broken anyway. As someone states below FFP is going to be a problem anyway unless we break top 4.
  8. Beyond me why they didn’t spend to give top 4 a go. Not like any team, apart from the top 6, has the luxury to give that shot away.
  9. Well that was a quick 20 minutes Turned off the match. Have better things to do. Haven’t performed very well so far this year.
  10. Superfunny. Liked the GIF with a man jumping out a window?
  11. Why don’t they start Maupay?
  12. ASM hasn't been the same player (as we remember under Bruce) for a very long time. The way we are playing now does not suit or support the type of player he is. Unless he can be the focal point he doesn't thrive.
  13. Think letting Wood and Shelvey go may backfire. No need for Gillespie and Krafth in the squad.
  14. Howe seems allergic to rotation. Starting (nearly) the same 11 game after game causes fatigue and the opponents will eventually know how to battle us.
  15. Dyche is not going to make Everton a top side. But he’ll have them mid- to lower table. Just like he did with Burnley ….before they eventually got relegated.
  16. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-11712035/Newcastle-star-Anthony-Gordon-face-JAIL-time-getting-caught-driving-road-ban.html
  17. Yeah, happy for him. He was probably not gonna stay beyond this season anyway. Personally would have liked to keep him for the reminder of the season. But he wanted to move on, so I get that and all. Good memories, though!
