Glad we won. Frustrating at times as we have flaws with centre midfield balance and no way to change it. The reluctance to bring in Hall and other youth players when 2 up and close to or in extra time seems very weird. We have a game in a few days and we still aren't using what we have in game already won.

We desperately need to have a balanced midfield to start controlling games. Horrible watching us camped in our half and can barely string 4 passes together against the likes of Fulham.

Quite a few times when watching Miley he some times doesn't expect a return pass when laying it on higher up the pitch.. Almost gets caught out, like he was certain it won't come back to him.

Agreed, it's a painful problem to watch. All we got is counter attacking football via the wing and handing majority the play to the opposition. 

We've missed Tonali, Willock and Joelinton so much. 

Getting so fed up of our pattern of play. Around the back, to the wing, back around the back before a shit over the top ball to a winger ala Nicky Butt style.

Why the hell can't we support our people on the ball with simple passing options.

What's the most passes we've strung together in a row? Feels like more than 4 is rare.

Why the hell Hall can't get a game is baffling.

One thing that seems to happen a lot this season is we don't drop back midfield or even attackers to give playing it out the back (while being pressed) more options to safely keep position. We just need one or two just to drop in to a space in our half to give that alternative. We are playing in to the hands of Fulham's high press. 

Shame that - lovely and direct from Murphy for his offside goal.

Barnes back to give rotation and time off for Gordon is much needed. Having only Murphy capable of right wing when he's barely played in ages is going to be risky. Can only assume we have a target for Almiron being sold we can bring in that's better.

Find this baffling if true and happens.

Still true though  (for so far this season only).

I'm sure Barnes has been unlucky and next season will be different, but its an awful start to barely be able to play for half a season. He was supposed to be the antidote to ASM doing that to us.
