As much as I hate the fucker, I do think he might actually have a point. I think we newcastle fans as a whole are far too impatient. Maybe it's just because most of my communication with other fans are on this forum.
  2. I agree completely. I have barely been able to come here anymore, because I know how every discussion ends these days.
  3. We knew they would come at us in the beginning, we'll soon enough be in control. Still very confident.
  4. I think it's perfect, I couldn't stand having to wait several hours, increasingly shaking more and more.
  5. HBA to come on at half-time at 0-1 for Tiote: Cabaye - Sissoko HBA - Marv - Gouff Cisse 7-1
  6. I hope it is Sissoko on the wing and marveaux in the middle, as marveaux seems a lot more out of position out there and doesn't track back as much.

Got 25/1 on Paddy Power, like. no doubt i could've got better odds but just stick with betfair these days. 33/1 on Skybet! That would be the first hattrick in his career, no?
  8. Krul Debuchy - Taylor - MYM - Haidara Cabaye - Tiote Sissoko - Marveaux - Jonas Cisse
  9. I think people have writen off Santon a bit too quickly. Admittedly he has had some mediocre performances, but he still has some amazing offensive qualities and is still young enough to develop his defensive capabilities. It might also see him bloom as a player if he was moved to the wing permanently (Bale). I would just hate to see another Milner-situation, where a player moves away and switches position (something a lot of people on here, were advocating with Milner), which makes him go from mediocre to amazing.
  10. Why play Marveaux on the right and Sissoko in the middle, instead of the other way around?

What a ridiculous post. There might be some fallacious conclusions, but at least it's well-articulated.

NSIS I'd have said Cabaye but while he disappeared over both legs Cisse turned up. Why only consider the two matches with Benfica? How about the likes of Ben Arfa, Mbiwa, Cabaye (indeed) or Krul? If anything I'd say the big clubs will look at Cisse's lack of consistency and steer well clear. Ben Arfa, too injury prone. Mbiwa, hasn't shown enough yet. Cabaye, too many times he has games like against Benfica. Didn't think about Krul, maybe. Cisse is the most likely, Bayern were strongly interested before he came here. I would put Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Sissoko, Yanga-Mbiwa and Krul as more likely to succeed at a top club. Ben Arfa, Sissoko and Yanga-Mbiwa also had interest from a lot of clubs before coming here btw.

I'd say he has that from the majority, already. Look at the top of this page.

Got everything right tonight. We were so close to beating a European top side with this depleted squad.

I find it quite amazing that only 29% ('yes' and 'never lost any') have faith in Pardew, despite him leading us to our highest league position in 8 years and the quarter finals of the uefa cup.
  16. The only question to ask is whether to safe some players for the mackems or not, maybe substituting some at half time, if we are not leading. For me there it is all about the Benfica game. Mackems come and go, and league position is safe enough, but a european cup run, with an actual shot at a title! Fucking hell, we should prioritize the shit out of that Benfica game, having everyone bleeding, bandaged and still fighting at 90th minute.
  17. Doesn't look like that bad of a side actually. Worse than ours, but good enough to pose a threat, if they get it right. Certainly looks to good to be relegated, I would think. I don't want them to be relegated anyway, I just want us to beat them with double digits.
  18. so happy for him. I was afraid I saw his career ending.
