  1. That's probably because they were more confident of beating you lot! On that basis, Bolton mustn't be very confident of beating anyone at home, hence all the empty seats at the Reebok. Don't mock him man or he might set the two kids with the big fuck off flags on us.
  2. That's probably because they were more confident of beating you lot! That's it. Spot on. They were shit scared of Bolton.
  3. Really? Fact is we took more supporters to Marseille than ANY of the English teams that they've played inlcuding Newcastle! In fact they had to open another block of seats in the MARSEILLE section (next to the line of stewards) to accommodate the BWFC supporters once the allocated section was full! That's because Marseille fans actually wanted to come and see the match against us.

  5. FOR ALL THOSE WHO WANT TO BUY A SEASON TICKET FOR THE FIRST TIME, EVEN IF YOU ARE ON THE SO CALLED "WAITING LIST", RING THE BOX OFFICE ON 0191 261 1571 ASAP Probably better here than in the ticket forum: From www.nufc.co.uk NEWCASTLE United are making their pre-season friendlies a real family affair by offering supporters the chance to bring youngsters under 11 to watch Celtic, Juventus and Sampdoria for FREE! And the further good news for fans looking forward to seeing Sam Allardyce and his new-look Magpies squad during the 2007/08 season, is that matchday prices have been reduced at St. James' Park for selected Premier League games. It's been a summer of big change with a new owner taking control of United Big Sam moving into the hot seat and an international quartet of Mark Viduka, Joey Barton, David Rozehnal and Geremi arriving on Tyneside as a new era begins in the club's history. Three attractive friendlies against Scottish double winners Celtic (July 26) and Italian giants Juventus (July 29) and Sampdoria (August 5) will certainly help the team prepare for the big challenges that lie ahead. And United are determined as many families will be able to enjoy these matches as possible, because for each of these games, an adult who buys an adult price ticket in advance of the game may request TWO FREE JUNIORS TICKETS FOR UNDER 11s, allowing admission to the same match provided they are accompanied by an adult (ie one adult may bring two children). Tickets for all three games will go on general sale from 9am on Monday, July 9 from the NUFC Box Office and online via the club's official website, nufc.co.uk. Please note that the Under 11s ticket offer is subject to availability and open to personal and telephone callers only and is NOT available on tickets bought via the website. Season ticket holders should also note there is NO priority period for these pre-season friendly games. If you are a season ticket holder your own seat or area is therefore not guaranteed. Meanwhile, Newcastle United supporters are still able to play their part in Big Sam's new-look Toon by securing season tickets. Season tickets are available now by calling into the NUFC Box Office or by telephoning 0191 261 1571. Season tickets still guarantee the best value for Magpie fans who don't want to miss any of the action at St. James' Park. But for those fans who cannot attend every home match during 2007/08, the club has decided that seats for the games against Birmingham City, Bolton Wanderers, Derby County, Fulham, Reading and Wigan Athletic will all be cheaper than 2006/07 matchday prices. These will be funded by increased prices for some other games. 8. How come you've managed to get on there? Not sure mate. He must be ringing around trying to find someone who wasnt a complete retard ( I just made it) They keep your number from when you text in, anyway. "Let's ring this 'John Watson, North Shields' fella"

  10. Our new poster, PegasusBridge, has a half hour slot on then, talking about Allardyce, the season ahead and basically the Toon in general. Post here for potential discussion ideas.
  11. www.nufc.co.uk SAM Allardyce believes Newcastle United have signed a proven winner in Geremi after the Cameroon international became the club's fourth signing of the summer. The Magpies have completed the deal for the 28-year-old, who arrives on a three-year contract from Chelsea on a free transfer. Geremi follows Mark Viduka, Joey Barton and David Rozehnal into St. James' Park as Big Sam continues to mould his squad for the 2007/08 campaign. And being able to list Chelsea and Real Madrid on his football CV means the versatile star is no stranger to silverware - and he even owns an Olympic gold medal! During his time at Real from 1999-2003, the Spanish giants tasted La Liga and Champions League glory, while two Premiership medals came his way with the Blues. His Olympic gold came when Cameroon triumphed at the Sydney games in 2000. He was also part of the Indomitable Lions squads that won the African Nations Cup in 2000 and 2002, and each time he proved he had the big-game mentality when he scored in penalty shoot-outs to win finals against Nigeria and Senegal, with former Toon midfielder Amady Faye crucially missing from the spot in the latter game. So it's not surprising that Big Sam is pleased to have Geremi on board, as he told nufc.co.uk: "We've signed a player who is a real winner and who has played on the biggest stages for both his clubs and his country. "He's been at Real Madrid and he's been at Chelsea, two of the top clubs in Europe and that tells you he must be a quality player. "It's a great bit of business for us and he's very keen to be successful at Newcastle United, as we all are in the times ahead. "Being able to add Geremi to Mark Viduka, Joey Barton and David Rozehnal has pleased me. In all cases, we've had competition for these players but all the hard work we have put into bringing them to Newcastle and selling the club has paid off." Although he's yet to pull on a black and white shirt, the record books show Geremi has scored a goal for Newcastle United. It came on May 15, 2005 when he put through his own net as a Chelsea player in a 1-1 draw at St. James' Park. He spent the 2002/03 season on loan with our north east neighbours Middlesbrough, and scored against us to win a Tyne-Tees derby for the hosts at the Riverside Stadium that term. Geremi will link up with his new Toon colleagues for the first time when Big Sam and the squad return from a training camp in Austria.
  12. Agreed, their coverage is socking. Can't believe I paid for a match that went for about 30 mins without commentary. Yeah, they can't possibly have improved in the last 4 years since that one occurrence of sound problems. tbh that was the best 30 mins of coverage they've ever produced.
