I don’t disagree with that, but they will have been asked to step up in the short term. I’m sure once the SD role is sorted out they will revert to role. The Sporting Director role has been a giant void for over 2 years now and is a huge part of why things are so bad off the pitch (along with Eales). Hopefully these roles getting filled will start to smooth things out.
