  1. Saying that, the next nearest club is middlesborough and they seem to carry a chip almost as big as the mackems about us. I don't know why, no one here really gives a flying f*** about them. Any excuse. What the actual f***. First time I've seen that, what the hell? Is there a shout of 'PHIL STAMP!' right at the end there?
  2. Considering how Anita has been shuffled around and out of the team he's been a model pro all the time he's been here TBH. Wouldn't call him a model pro. Clearly has a balanced personality but he doesn't have that spirit of determination on the pitch a model pro needs. He is doing well at right back now tho. I've gone from wanting to punch him in the face to wanting him to continue at right back for the foreseeable future. What? He's one of the most inoffensive players we have.
  3. You can see his two team mates just sort of turn and look like 'not again you absolute tool.'
  4. It is ridiculous if no-one else gets charged. Regardless of how important and heated the game was, you can't let players get away with all the shit that was going on in that match. If the officials claim they actually saw the incidents and the player can't be charged because of it, then the officials should be banned for a few games for simply being incompetent. The FA don't seem to give a fuck in applying their own rules and don't seem to have any guidelines that they stick to consistently. The most annoying thing is that this could directly impact whether we stay up or not. 3 or 4 players out for Spurs and I'd fancy us going into that last game, only Dembele out and we're going to struggle.
  5. The time wasting was the best part. You just know all week he would have thought he was a genius for coming up with this incredible plan to frustrate the crowd. He would have been drilling it into his players all week with that smug, arrogant smile on his rubbery lips. His knowledge of the Geordie public combined with his tactical acumen was going to nullify and quieten the crowd. Noocarstle would push forward, urged on by the frustrated fans and they would catch us on the break, striking like a cobra. He could almost taste the adulation already for another job well done, another great performance in 2016. The King had done it again. Against all the odds, he'd shown that proper football men ruled the roost in the Premier League. What was that vibration on his thigh? Of course. A WhatsApp from Big Sam. He must have seen the result. Just wait until he told him what the secret to the victory was. The footballing landscape would never be the same again.
  6. Probably one of his best games for us. Not saying a lot but still, he was very good today. Sent from my ONE A2001 using Tapatalk
  7. Well played Karlo Darlow Sent from my ONE A2001 using Tapatalk
  8. Please God let him stay. It will be gutting if we only have him for a handful of games, he could completely revitalise the club if he stays.
  9. Never read that article before, it's absolutely glorious.

    Players in public

With the majority of the squad, neither do I.
  11. You're definitely Pardew like.
  12. Just giving it the old Shola 'I score goals all the time' nonchalant celebration.
  13. Me neither. If Rafa agrees to stay if we get relegated then by all means bring relegation on. I would have absoutely no doubts that Rafa would bring us back up straight away and would have cleared out all the players and staff that aren't good for the club. In a strange way, it might actually be beneficial for the big clear out if we were relegated, everything could be practically started again and done the right way from the start. If Rafa is going to leave if we're relegated though, then relegation can fuck off please. I think we'd be stuck down there for a long time.

    Dogawful Officiating

I was sat in the South West corner on Tuesday, watched Aguero the whole time he was stood offside to see if he got back onside at any point, right up to the point at which Kolarov struck the ball (which you could actually hear as well as see out of the corner of your eye) and even without being bang in line with the play I could see immediately that he was about 2 yards offside. Absolutely staggering that the linesman didn't raise his flag for it, just complete and utter incompetence to get something like that so clearly wrong from a set piece.
  15. Oh dear, he doesn't have anyone directing him,no rehearsal. It's just him. I would love to see him on politics/religion/ even abortion. Would be a burial. I couldn't resist watching that again. The bit about girls. I like the Partridge-esque 'yeah' after that bloke revs the engine for him.
  16. Good to have him back, makes such a difference having a full back who can actually defend. Like others have said, he's not going to beat a man and whip in a brilliant cross, but he's exactly what we need at full back at the minute - solid and going to give his all.
  17. I think it's because the fans know more about 'legacy' players than the new managers do. Rafa Benitez won't have a clue where he played for Toulouse before he came here to be a winger (great job Pardew). Don't have many/any coaches in place from when he arrived to pass the information on, only Darth Vader and he's probably in Holland again right now. I'm pretty certain he will like
  18. Love how they've managed to sum up the characters of the people involved perfectly in just a few words each: Jonas - 'credible and convincing witness.' All round great guy. Pardew - on the face of things he's 'confident, convincing' but in reality 'the detail was not necessarily as credible as the manner in which it was delivered.' A fucking liar and a fraud. Charnley - 'evasive and lacking in credibility.' Says it all really. Carver - 'vague' and 'rejected.' Thick as pig shit. They've got them all completely sussed after just a couple of days in court
  19. Ray Wilkins on TalkSport, regarding whether Newcastle should've given Benitez the job - 'There are lots of young British coaches who would give their right arm for that job... well, not literally... apologies if I've offended anyone with that comment.' The man is mentally ill.
  20. He was probably aiming for a throw in tbf. Yeah it was Colback from the kick off and Sammy who scored in 7 seconds, 2014 vs Spuds. I remember thinking at the time that it was by no means a well directed pass. If I remember rightly he seemed to 'hook' it and it just happened to land in the path of Sammy.
  21. Glad he finds it so fucking funny. Useless prick.
  22. The fact that the only person willing to stand up and say something to try and provoke a reaction in this side is a 22 year old who has been at the club less than a year says it all about the rest of the heartless cowards we have in the team. They should be fucking ashamed of themselves, but I don't think any of them even give it a second thought, they'll just be on the lookout for a new club in the summer.
  23. Supposedly been a key player for Spurs this season, but I agree, I don't get it either. Probably be the usual overhyping and then he turns out to be bang average.
