After only having one training session with the squad it was always guna be tough for him considering the circumstances. It takes time for everyone to know how to play with him and what his strengths are. I think we saw as the game went on he slowly became more confident and the players knew how to play it to him. He looked very strong in the air, won more than his fair share of headers late on against two big centre backs. Promising imo

I said about a minute before it happened that someone should break that fagans legs after he strutted away with the ball when he won a throw in, guthrie must have been listening! Fagan looks like a right cocky bastard, although it was a pretty bad challenge ill give him that. Reminded me of the bothroyd 'tackle' when he was playing for blackburn and just went up and booted someone completely off the ball

Aye, apologies for my comments earlier, i was just extremely pissed off and felt like smashing my flat up or something! I appreciate some people feel very strongly, the point I was trying to make was that the banner and other chanting during the game was taking the focus off the game. The players needed a big lift from us today and I think the banner sort of stuff was best left out the stadium, and certainly not when the game was going on

Thought he did quite well when he came on. Showed a couple of nice touches, went looking for the ball and some neat passing. Might need to call on him in the next few weeks with guthrie and barton out too

I was disgusted with the fans today. Congratulations evryone who contributed to an atmosphere that would do nothing but dishearten the players. And if those same fans are now angry at the result then I hope they realise they have played a part in the defeat. TWATS
