  1. He has a fucking shite barnet and his legs are too hairy
  2. I’d have assumed we were in the Champo
  3. So lush to see the contrast under the new regime. Ashley would have had them kids working zero hour contracts in his tat emporiums.
  4. I’d choose win the league cup over finishing 2nd even if the trade off was that I had to watch me mam and dad dogging at St Mary’s Lighthouse car park
  5. I'd have taken Muller in his prime, but he's gone to pot these days
  6. It's been coming to the boil for a few days now
  7. Like watching a group of lads taking the piss out of one of their mates cos he fancies a lass and she fancies him but they’re not officially going out yet. I love it.
  8. My granda was a master baker and my dad was a baker. So I was brought up on pies and am something of an afficionado. Kennedy & Rhind in Jesmond are knocking out some hand made bangers, had a takeaway beauty from there last week.
  9. Kinda, they're in a strategic partnership and Coke owns around 20% of Monster
  10. I had a chat with him when he was in his full Nana Makina kit a few months back, seemed like a canny lad. Was telling me about how they sorted out the Nana Makina sunrise set at Tynemouth Priory
  11. Seen Dan Ashworth in deep discussion with a bloke before the match on Satdee, they were on the sofa's near the Milburn escalators. My lip reading isn't great but I think he might have been saying "Haaland's got a release clause...."
  12. Tripps. It's more than just his top class footballing ability and brain. It's his leadership, guile, integrity, positive attitude, confidence, will to win, composure, gamesmanship, lack of ego and he's quickly developed a clear passion for the club, city and fans. I'm in my 40's and for me he's possibly the best all-round professional I've ever seen at the club.
  13. Fuck the World Cup. Our players are invested emotionally and physically in the rebirth and success of NUFC and this is a massive chance to demonstrate our capabilities. Going balls to the wall to get NUFC into the champions league or pissing about in Qatar for a few weeks. No competition. Howay the lads.
  14. Same as others have said, flat atmosphere, poor performance, just glad we won. Odd mix of people compared to a league game and a boring nowts each just magnified the lack of noise. I took one of my kids for the first time, she's not really into football but sat and focused on the match and took it all. Surprisingly she'd like to go back. And it's not just kids staring at phones throughout the game, was a group of lads in their 20's near me and the only time they got animated was when one of them finally got some mobile signal.
  15. The thing that excites me most about Eddie is his how dedicated he is to improving and winning. Robson and Keegan, both nice blokes with emotional personalities which endeared them to us but also was a big weak spot. We had good sides, but never had that extra mettle or tactical nous that drives true success. With Eddie I see a nice bloke who’s easy to like but with a ruthless desire to plan, improve and win. He’s scientific and calculated. Our outstanding defensive performances are a great example of this in action.
  16. Go balls deep with the strongest possible team. 2 games left before most in the squad get a decent rest. The way we’re playing we could be in the mix for winning a cup. Let’s not fuck about.
