Yeah, one of their subs today had to get time off from the bank he works at.
That's so awesome, especially in today's game where there are dudes making a week what it takes "common" people years to make.
Ian Darke is being a bit cheeky in his commentary here in the States
"Do you really think it hurt that bad?"
"Oh look, De Rossi is totally fine now..."
Subtly having a go at the Italian players for diving/cheating.
a part of me is enjoying it but a larger part is very angry at the fact they don't seem to give 2 shits about being there
erm isn't that like the majority of us. don't give too much of a shit about it (i stopped filling in my wall chart early on day 2) and am only really bothered about my club NUFC.
Yeah but they got there at the expense of a team that would've loved to be there.
two come to mind.
1) Absolutely smashed a volley from a low cross at the top of the 18 and it went in.
2) An admittedly sweet right upper 90 curler from outside the box. I was pretty astonished that it had gone in - just out of the keepers' reach.
The problem with the non-goal is that he was looking directly at Bocanegra who was man-handling his dude, although it was totally 50/50. If he were looking at anyone else it would've stood.
I've heard/read that crying is a very common thing in North Korea. Was listening to a radio report last night about the documentary that was made about the Korean team that was housed in Boro during the WC and how when they went back they got in a big circle and had a little cry together.
