    Nicky Butt

    Absolutely spot on.
  2. ...that's Panthers. Black Panthers, that is. There are non-black panthers.
  3. It depends on your ligaments. If it is the first time, he won't be able to use the shoulder 100% for a month or so. If he has done it a lot, he will probably be fine in a couple of weeks. wouldn't it be a constant weak spot though, vianaesque ? Correct, but the healing time will decrease because the ligaments get more damaged the first time you do it. The chance of it to happen again will increases though. I dislocated my shoulder twice within 2 months in 2008, and the second time hurt far more and took longer to heal for me. Probably because it wasn't healed totally from the first go-round.
  4. Want them to get a keeper in of some worth just to keep the chances of Liverpool out of the Top 4 relatively high.

  6. FM legend, not too shabby in real life as well. Wouldn't mind him if we were to add a Yank to our ranks. Agree. If we're talking MLS targets I'd also look at Le Toux from Philly. Kljestan would be at the top of my list though.

I wouldn't mind us taking a punt on Le Toux. Always rated him.

PPL Park looks like it has great potential too. 20k stadium purpose built. Should be sweet. I'm looking forward to PGE Park out in Portland next season too. Putting roofing over all seating which should really add to the atmosphere (and is missing in most MLS stadiums) PGE Plans: http://www.portlandmls2011.com/stadium/pge-park-renovation/

What a nice stadium for soccer in America. I hope they use it to host a lot of stuff - much nicer than the Home Depot Center.

Moreno not even out of breath. Damning evidence unfortunately.

MLS is at least starting to LOOK like a better product.

Seriously. Could he have been any lazier when taking that shot?

two things I notice everytime I watch a MLS match: 1) the commentators almost always seem like they don't really have a clue 2) there is no midfield retention of the ball, it's always force force force. And I don't like that we have to be the only country in the world that names the teams backwards, ie: this match is in NY and the Red Bulls are listed second (like every other US sport). Why can't we just be like everyone else?

It's on here in Florida too, but a channel that I don't have the package for.
  16. Please, anything to get Liverpool into Europe!
  17. A classic case of works better in theory. Disagree. It's a better system. Man-to-man puts attackers under more pressure, but zonal marking leaves fewer gaps and keeps the side better positioned for a second ball or counter-attack. Like I said, great in theory.
  18. I feel like Doyle would take over Lovenkrands starting spot in the lineup and I trust Lovenkrands far more than I would ever trust Doyle to produce goals.
  19. My initial reaction after reading the news as well.
  20. Dunno if this will work for you but the ESPN one is good: http://games.espn.go.com/bpredictor/en-us/frontpage
  21. Spain to win it on both of my brackets.
  22. Would start up front with Carroll, Lovenkrands, and Nolan in the hole, with Guthrie, Jonas and Routledge behind them and then sub Guthrie for Vuckic around the 55-60 minute mark so Guthrie can get his standing O and Vuckic can get some time on the pitch at home.
