Nah not really. I expect him to get simple short passes right 75% of the time. Too much to ask? So you think he misplaces more than a quarter of his short passes? Well slight exaggeration there but he does misplace worryingly many. You must really be watching a different match. He misplaces a few but no where near as many as other players do. A lot of time when his pass is "misplaced" as well is when he plays a short pass and the midfiedler/forward refuses to drop back to get the pass and it gets cut off - hardly his fault most of the time. His vision is far better than most in the squad.

Shearer needs to go be an assistant elsewhere and learn the trade on a more day-to-day basis. He needs to suck his ego up and learn from a good manager.

I don't necessarily want Shearer as our manager but now that he's had a taste so-to-speak, most fans will want him in full time for one reason or another. I'd rather he get the job now that we're in the Championship and even if he does suck as a manager we can still relatively walk the league and hope that he learns from the mistake he will undoubtedly make over the course of this season. He'd be out in the first six months of us being in the Prem but at leas the Shearer cloud would no longer reign over NUFC.

It really is. At this rate we'll have far more matches on television than we did in the last two years combined.

He shouted a fair bit. He spent the entire game battling with Steve Howard tbh, needless Smith hate. He did well imo. Yeah definitely did a great job, we would've been down 2-0 pretty quickly without him I reckon - he really kept Howard at bay.

Leicester can actually play a bit of football, it's refreshing. Too bad we're stinking the place up.

Why does everyone think this is such a big deal? It's not like we have any money to buy new players anyway. We're only going to get loans/free as it stands. I think being sold after the window closing is being made out to be a bigger deal than it actually is. I never expected us to buy anyone. Don't we have something like another month to bring in loan players and we can sign free players whenever. I'd rather us just be bought, I don't care if it happens before or after the window closes.

Thinking about flying over there and knocking on the door for a trial. I'll play for 1k a week.
