  1. If we had a midfield that could protect them at least a little, that would be an amazing back four.
  2. Not a bad idea at all, for a few of our better prospects (ie: Bassong). Let them go on a year's loan to a top-flight side in Europe and give us the chance to get back into the Prem where they want to play anyway. We won't have to pay their wages and we won't lose them in a formal transfer.
  3. That Arsenal/Highbury one has and probably always will be my favorite kit. Obviously I'd never wear it, but I always fucking loved it, especially with the white shorts and maroon socks as well. Total class.
  4. Looks pretty decent on the pitch to be fair.
  5. Where at? I might be headed over into the I-drive area around Disney - usually lots of British people in the pubs around those parts, there's bound to be a few Newcastle fans to suffer through it with.
  6. Would give us some proper, real width.
  7. Love this quote: "As an aside hopefully Richardson,Malbranque and "Cissie" have played their last games for us. Absolute tossers of the highest order." Arguably three of their best players and he's slagging them off. Good move.
  8. Shearer to rip off his suit, exposing a Newcastle kit on under it and subbing himself on to score the winner.
  9. why not? No one is that dumb, especially if you're a successful business man or affiliated with one.
  10. If Viduka stays and stays fit, then yes.
  11. I can't believe anyone is actually believing this shit. There's no way in hell anyone affiliated with the top of this club would have that on their kit at the last home match of the season.
  12. People actually believe this kind of shit? "A source"? All sounds pretty made up tbh.
  13. That Leeds kit actually looks pretty smart.
  14. I only ever buy white boots. my newest ones: http://tsa.imageg.net/graphics/product_images/p5728569reg.jpg
  15. It's nice to watch people not dive at every bit of contact (like Alves and Drogba tonight). I always appreciate a player that moves about the pitch and only goes down if there is serious contact, there's too many players these days that go down under such minimal contact it's sickening. Imagine the number of players that could be world-class if they didn't spend half their time on the ground. Stay up, keep the ball, do something your team rather than just diving to get a free-kick.
  16. This. One point is better than zero although we all wish it could've been three.
  17. Love the look of that bench - we can really change the game with just a few subs (barton and jonas in particular). Feeling a lot better than I did earlier.
  18. Really - it's been said already but I'll add my two cents for post of the year. I will remember this for quite some time.
  19. I don't think they won a match in their first season, so yes. There is so much parity in the MLS that any team can beat another team on any day - there's no real stand out favorites ie: Man U/Chelsea type of clubs. So having an about-even record in matches is about right.
