off mouriho then?

At 3-0 I was beyond caring.. It's a tough club to support

I doubt he would leave Blackburn. But then again I'd say the same 'bout 'Arry! If you read/believe the express then: "Hughes was put forward but Newcastle were not interested." As managers i think 'arry and Hughes are of the same stature, but Mark just seems like a more likeable figure. Plus Redknap's jowls make me cringe, and at the very least we should be looking for a reasonably attractive man to be at the helm.

I like Hughes, he's got the whole james bond thing going for him

f*** Redknapp and f*** you we really ought to have a minimum age limit on here Seconded

i'll try my hardest to contain my excitement

i tend to distance myself from threads like these; let me guess, are these the very same posters who scoffed at the very idea of mourinho managing spurs?

We won't get hammered but all signs point to a loss Just not our year

You've made option 3 irresistable. I added it for higher degree of credibility Do the clippings work? PM me if you want to know, i don't want to seem like some kind of freaky stalker I thought you had to get your clippings under thier bed. :parky: Unfortunately it's a lot harder than it sounds

All our deliveries are either coming from the wings in the form of a cross (heading isn't one of owen's strengths) or long balls from the half way line, again not to his srrengths. Owen thrives on through balls down the middle and he rarely, if ever gets them right now.

It's terribly unbecoming to poke fun at the mentally challenged

After another less than stellar performance by easily our best-known player, i wonder what you lot think of him.

Your XI ignoring players from the "Big Four"
McCormick replied to LooneyToonArmy's topic in Football
I think Owen is surviving on his legacy alone, his performances thus far have been poor whether its because: A) He's been irreparably damaged by injury B) He's past it or.. as some of the more intelligent people of the forum politely put it: C) He's a lazy-only-plays-for-england-crock As one of the more sensible posters i fail to see why you've added the likes of mickey in your best 11 -
Yep, and he wasn't even being sarcastic. Steve "quick-wit" 69 has duped us all and produced a gem of an ironic comment. I'm surprised you fell for it andmeister.

Shows the potential to be a good player, but methinks the child shall be no world-beater

He didn't do thaaaat well, but for a 18 (was it?) year old he looked promising with the ball. The only one playing it on the ground aswell.

Stoke's manager saw how intrumental duff was in the first half and as a consequence played the central defender more on the right side to counter this. This kind of tactical nous is what managers are supposed to implement but Sam, as of late, seems clueless. Maybe its the pressure, maybe its dawning on him that his beloved 4-3-3 system cannot work for the toon or maybe he's got down's syndrome and nobody notices it because he wears such nice clothes- either way i'm all in favour of supporting the man but at times (now for instance) the very reason i wanted him to come here alludes me. Why did we (in general) want him in the first place? I say stick with for at least another season and back him well, if not then its time we secure a certain former lyon and liverpool manager's services.
