A draw against this Blackburn team would still be a poor result for them. Plus Wenger would credit his players for the strong will they showed to fight back while continuing to ignore the larger issues. Either way I'm going to be happy here.

He was probably on a pretty decent wage at Everton, don't you think?
-
They did have their only competent defender at the time. I would normally agree, but this is incredible.
-
How the hell did they almost win at Dortmund?
-
Just need Song or Djourou to get sent off and the fairy tale will be complete.
-
Such a cool and collected finish. Deserves praise really.
-
Holy fucking hell. Bahahahahahhahahahahahaahaha.
-
Why must we have Shola and Loven on the bench? One of those two is plenty. Perch as our only available defensive cover is scary.
-
If Udinese had knocked them out of the CL, then maybe. Not now though. He'll get the year at least. Would be interesting if they finished 6th though.
-
Really wanted to see Marveaux start over Obertan, but very happy with Ba in for Shola. Think he'll score today.
-
Blackburn better not try to sit on this.
-
He really is a terrible human being.

You know, you're absolutely right. Baseball hasn't been woven into the fabric of America for well over 100 years or anything. "In our sun-down perambulations, of late, through the outer parts of Brooklyn, we have observed several parties of youngsters playing "base," a certain game of ball...Let us go forth awhile, and get better air in our lungs. Let us leave our close rooms...the game of ball is glorious." - Walt Whitman, 1846 It's possible to separate the rampant commercialism from the purer sides of the sport. It can be difficult when you're watching Rays' Baseball presented by Joe's Crab Shack live from Tropicana Field , but all you need to look at is Monument Park in Yankee Stadium or the ivy on the walls at Wrigley, the Green Monster at Fenway Park or imagine Kirk Gibson's famous home run at Dodger Stadium with Vin Scully's unparalleled voice describing it. The history and the moments of the game will outlive every corporate sponsor, every tacky billboard, and every Pregame Show brought to you by Castrol GTX. That being said, the Sports Direct s*** looks tacky and, like others have said, it's a lot harder to take when it's not making the club any richer.

His worst game management with us by a long shot.
-
Taylor's gonna win it now.
-
That's because Tiote has ranged from average to utter shit for most of the season.
-
I'm starting to buy into the 'Tiote has been replaced with an imposter' conspiracy theories.
-
I feel like Pardew expected us to be up 2 or 3-0 at some point in the second half and he could have brought Santon on for a debut with no pressure. Now it's clear Raylor is a completely liability back there, but he isn't sure he wants to throw Santon into this situation. At least that's the most logical explanation I can come up with. Still doesn't make sense though.

It's true. In hindsight the Arsenal goal was the most unbelievable thing that ever happened.
-
Best does so much running. He makes Shola look even more static than he always is.
-
We look even better than I thought we would in all black. Tiote needs stop with that shit.
-
Love the new look. The only thing I don't like is how the link back to the football page at the top of each thread lists the moderators after. Just seems in the way. I'm sure I'll get used to it though and I do realize this is incredibly trivial.

Neil - Kenwright portrays himself, and is portrayed in the media, as an incredibly passionate and loyal Everton supporter that would do anything for the club. Is this accurate or still believed by supporters? Do you think he's genuinely looking for a buyer who has the best interests of Everton F.C. at heart or is he just looking to make some money?
